Sorry, but your first "important" consideration is of absolutely no interest to me. Your 2nd consideration, likewise, not interested in cloud storing.
Cloud? Are you an Apple user? Make your own external backups!
It's a shame you've moved to widescreen. Widescreen typically does not work well with photos and has to crop or "Ken Burns" which often times cuts a large part of the picture out. Most cameras take pictures in standard layout. I sure wish you had a 12" screen in the newer technology that was not widescreen. I'd buy one in a minute. I've had Nix frames for years.
Is there an option for the power not to be via a tradiotnal power supply that plugs into the wall.?
I don't need the cloud, internet, wifi, or sharing. Just looking for a decent size frame that will show my photos from an SD card. Needs to be bright with no blue cast.
