On October 20th, 2018, the Middle School Photography Club took their first photo walk of the school year to Laoximen, one of the oldest and most vibrant neighborhoods in all of Shanghai. 14 students, and 7 chaperones took to the subway and headed into the city to explore. The students were working on capturing movement in a still image, bringing bokeh into their photography, and perhaps a lesson they weren’t expecting….How to interact with the subjects of their photographs. This was a great day, thank you to all of the students, parents, and chaperones who came together to make it happen!
Mr. Yenshaw! Thank you for taking these kids out to see more of Shanghai and to practice the skills they have been developing. Now if only Mr. Olson could convince you to do a voice over 🙂
