Up – The photo album scene "Thanks for the Adventure"
NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT INTENDED, I DON’T OWN OR CLAIM TO OWN Disney’s Pixar’s UP or the originial score “Stuff we did” by Michael Giacchino, ALL RIGHTS GO TO THEIR RESPECTABLE OWNERS
The most heart-rendering twist in the movie when Carl opens the photo album Ellie had given to him on her death bed and realises that she wanted to tell him that she considered their married life itself an adventure. A very moving silent scene with the amazing Acadamy award winning score of Giacchino emphasizing the emotion (The track is “Stuff we Did”). This is more than just a cartoon indeed…Hope you enjoy it!!
Note: Ellie’s words are written in French :S
"Thank you for the beautiful adventure. It's time for you to start a new one
I love you, Ellie"
Pixar movies can manage to wring tears from the stoniest of hearts
This always makes me cry and wonder… Who took the photos?
I wonder what heartless persons disliked this O.o
It's been 9 years and I still come here to make myself cry
the sadder scene in up in the saddest movie of pixar
I’m not crying, you are
I think this scene is as great as the first sequence.
This is what makes life beautiful.
I swear this is exactly how I feel when I look back at my text message history with my crush…
#depression
Merci pour cette belle aventure – Il est temps pour toi d'en vivre une nouvelle!
Je t'aime, M. Gabriel.
i lose my best friend in last year, with this scene i think we will forever have good memories of the deads but we need let they go.i will forever love all the memories with me and he.
This Made Me Cry So Bad
More emotional than the beginning IMO.
This is sad as fuck! Man, I'm gonna cry man.
I will NEVER be over this movie. Tears. Every. Single. Time.
To grow old with the one you love is one of the most beautiful things in this world.
This movie has so many emotional moments, even just little ones. I love when he's throwing all the stuff out of his house to make it lighter. Shows him finally moving on. And when he loses the house and tells Russell "It's just a house." Just one line but it's amazing to me.
This scene was perfect. Enjoy each day. Don't live in the past. New adventures await!!
Who took all those photos of them together?!
i had to punch the wall to feel manly again
hands down this has to be the best movie i have seen great message and very touching to my heart.
subscribe to me if you agree ☺
why do I torture myself with these videos
I seriously love how as Carl flips the pages of the album, the photos growingly become more colourful, signifying that a new adventure awaits for him. Definitely, this is one of the most tearjerking movies I have ever seen.
Oh god… The feels….
I'm crying
Ellie was Carl's adventure.
damn it. it gets me every time. I dont want to cry… 🙁
damn ninjas
This fucking scene man. Every time.
sweat on my eyes… damn!!!
You know, I really dislike the "to feel manly again" comments. If being manly means not feeling empathy, sadness, or tenderness, then frankly to hell with being manly.
Russell: That might sound boring, but I think the boring stuff is the stuff I remember the most….
Ooooooh! Right in the heart!
Does anyone knows where can I get some of those clips for a photo album? I miss the old times when you sit in the couch and laugh with old photos in paper…. Not in LCD. THANKS! I would appreciate it
