I have a question.
Right now I have a Canon 350D and a Samsung S9+ I am unsure of which camera I should use, are there pros and cons to using the Canon over my phone? or vice versa. Thanks for any help
Awesome.
Ob I'd buy some lenses
me – "oh look a preset pack in the credits, I was looking for presets when I stumbled on this video how handy!"
Putting that upselling to work haha
Do you have any proposal for companies that distribute stock photos to all agencies?
2:59 Ur a drummer it's understandable.
I love how you say all these great things but put no additional information about it in your text. Like stock shooting. Sounds great, but wtf is stock shooting?
dislike for that scream way over the volumen…
great channel.
You are living in dreamland. For 200 dollars or 200 pounds over here in northern ingerland you can get a whole wedding photographed , seriously guys this is fantasy
what is the stock photo site that put it on all sites?
Here in my beloved Slavic country, that goal 3000 bucks is actually something arround 700€ top.
Tuesday Minute video ha ha ha
Woah how did Peter go back in time to grab himself from the past?!
Has Google ever lost photos on you? I have nearly a month of black pictures I have no idea what happened?
Where is a good place to sell stock photos?
I've been trying to connect with you Peter but you never respond to my messages
you guys should do a podcast or something
What's the soundtrack name at the end of the video?
Am I crazy for charging only 50$ for party shooting? (Mainly 18th birthday parties)
Love the rockstar hair….
Everyone self-employed should see this!
Lol
Am I the only person who caught the random shout at 11:12?
those stock agent sites that upload to all of them cost money right? like literally costs money to make an account or do that.
Hey PM and CH, Challenge Accepted!
@riesspiece
Thank you for the advice, it gave me some ideas. I live in Banff National Park and I've noticed a lot of mediocre photos are selling for a lot of money in the stores. I've gone out to buy a Pixma Pro printer to print my own photos and sell them at the market every Wednesday. This saves me 20$ for every 13×19 print I make and they will sell for a much more affordable price than what the stores are asking as well. This way travellers from all over the world can see my photos and I can promote my instagram account. Keep an eye out! @riesspiece
i mean i got a job at henry's so making money with photography in a different way
Just finished watching, I am so hyped to start it up!
Social interaction.. I'm f**ked..
Hi gents, thank you so much for the ultra honest video. This is super invaluable, no one shares info like this for free in a hurry anymore! Highly appreciated. PS. Peter, you're a legend man! Love your postive energy, motivation and inspiration.
So handsome
These videos make me laugh a lot. It's like telling someone they can make 1$ million dollars in a day…by winning the lottery. Charge 50 bucks for a SINGLE headshot and hope that 10 of your friends need a headshot the same day…yeah, sure.
Stock photography making 5 cents per picture, good luck with that.
Network? Yeah, if you have 50k real followers of course.
I mean, thanks for the tips and the effort, but not that easy, otherwise everyone would be making 3k a month in the photo business.
Lots of great tips! Could anyone explain the "Instagram places" to me, I didn't quite get that part.. 17:25
thanks for the Awesome tips, especially the upselling part.I am a student, and My first gig i was called to take photo's for one fast food joint, from them having seen my instagram, which turned to 3 joints, and i upsold them on the idea that i could revamp their menus since i am a graphic designer too, and that gig financed my new camera.
Great info guys! I hate the cold calling and refuse to do it but instagram is a great idea and works.
Amazing content! thanks so much! show us the knife you got at the knife store!
thank ya for the knowledge

I’m 25 just starting learning any tips I wanna do this for a living
I used to make $3000/day. Thank you, digital, online image filter suppliers, iphone users, false claimers of professionality for offering your services for next to nothing (or nothing) and racing us all to the very bottom.
Hey, thanks for this video. Ive started to get my feet wet with my camera and looking forward to see where taking this advice will land me in a month.
I have an idea, let’s make a video that promises easy money to people who actually suck at photography (like me…lol) and make money off the clicks from people who wanna make money….. got it…lol. (PS, I was actually just bored, so there see how easy it was to make money off just bored people too….:)
An idea that's worked for me too (not a ton of money, but it's yielded a couple return clients): teach photography merit badges for BSA. reach out to local troops and volunteer to teach the photography merit badge, and give the scouts a little 5 page handout that goes over camera settings with samples of your photos that align with the merit badge. In the footer toss your contact information and website link. Their parents will see the quality and they'll know you work well with kids and teenagers. BOOM. family photo shoot.
sneaking into model homes for stock photos definitely isn't cool. I have several family members in Interior Design and they regularly find photos of their houses that they worked hard to make beautiful on other sites without crediting them as the designer. And then other people and designers can steal their ideas without having to come to them for design guidance.
Don't steal other artists' work to make a quick buck.
Other than that, great video and ideas. lol what's the site for uploading to multiple stock sites?
How long of a session would you do for each person if you did 10 people in a day?
That would be $1000 after taxes
