Wtf? Does he have to convince them because they are paying for it? Im. Trying to figure this out. I didn't know this was a thing.
I wish parents would be more concerned with what makes people happy and how to find personal contentment rather than chase money.
I don't make very much money, but you don't really need alot to live.
0:15 wheres the coffee
0:31 that transition 😍
Hellllll yeah let’s do this
Man, this is exactly what I needed to hear because I've been in limbo about wanting to take the leap for my creative drive. Road bumps are expected, but just need a little push. Thanks Chris!
So nobody never seen the transition at 0:30 – 0:34 ??!! 👀🔥🔥 that was extremely DOPE !!!
Nice thumbnail Chris, you look like the James Bond of photography (with hair).
"It sucks to let your family down, but it's even worse to let yourself down"
Chris Hau comin' in hot with the wisdom
That transition with the bird at 0:45 was amazing!
You mean "Hau?" 😆
Great video Chris! Man I feel so spoiled. growing up my parents are entrepreneurs and risk-takers and made money doing things in the arts that most people would think is impossible. Growing up watching them I got a first-hand education on what it takes to be an entrepreneur and a creative. That being said I still can't really find a way to make money doing photography taking pictures of people because most people today don't get pictures taken of themselves unless they are super rich or something like that.
Coming from the Music side the only way I could convince my parents I should do this was to show them that I could make a consistent revenue stream.
Initially, I thought just uploading music and creating good content online was enough but then I realized that good content doesn't necessarily equate to making money. I love what I do, but making money was more important at the time so I could pay bills. I didn't start making money till I sat down and figured out every stream of rev I could think up and execute on them. Its hard work. If you want it bad enough you'll be okay to put in 16 hour days, and constantly be looking for a way to make it happen. and it will happen. That has been my experience. thanks for this video, hope this inspires someone! Love your content, Chris!
Loved the lens cap or nd filter transition nice touch
Thanks so much for this video. Today I've after 3 years finally decided to fulltime pursue a career as a photographer, videomaker and graphic designer. And it's true, I'm scared as hell. I was a volunteer till now and I don't have any financial support or backing. But at the same time I just know I can't do anything else than this. It's my life and love.
your text that says "Chris Haus" in the beginning looks like Cums Hau … may want to add some more space between those letters…
Your last words were so true! If you break it down what really matters in life is that you live happily. Income is just one of many tools to get you there and so is a creative and fulfilling job – my opinion
Very inspiring Chris, keep up the good work!
Hey ChrisI love your videos! I also live in Toronto if you ever need a hand in recording I can help! I have a Canon 6D Mk ii With Tamron 24-70 f2.8 and a DJI Ronin S. Let me know! 😆
Can't be a YouTuber if you don't have a b-roll sequence of coffee and some sort of electric transportation device somewhere in your video.
money is the number one thing that will stop you carrying on though. if your not making enough money doing what you love you may have no choice but to find a regular job or go back to a career you once hated just to pay the bills.
I am trying to be photographer and I am 18 yo My parents are still telling me that is just waste of time and I will find one "real job" and doing photography as second job until I start making real money for myself and then I'll go 100% in Photography 😉 Have a nice day and convince your parents that you can do anything Enjoy
Came here for the thumbnail, stayed for the video, kept watching for the hair, subscribed for the…? 😎👊🏻
"It sucks to let your family down but it sucks worse to let yourself down"
Nice to see your drone pass over your head at 3:40 into the video……
Man. SOLID steps to take in order to convince your parents!! MONEY.
Boy, it seems like brazilian music in the start. Hugs from Nordeste, yes, in portuguese!!!
You shouldn't try to convince anyone. You do you. Don't let parents live your life.
Was that pete's new nd filter on the thumbnail ? 👌
Hi Chris can you tell my parents that I don’t need a (mental) hospital for deciding to be a blogger/ fashion photographer? We come from similar background, we both studied architecture, went the music path for a few years and then decided to be a creative. Any suggestions?
Thanks for such expensive content.
Easy just show scientifically proven results from a career advisor
Chris you inspire, you create a quality content value, and I have to say you have that x factor of charisma. Love your videos!
3:38 Nice fly through on the bridge!
I decided to start doing photography full time at 41, its as tough then as when you are 18 to convince people that you can be successful doing it.
