The East Liverpool, Ohio police department decided to share on social media a picture of a couple overdosed and passed out in a car with a young boy in the backseat. Publishing the photo, say local law enforcement, was the city’s cry for help.

Hell yes do it again it about the child, he did not chose to be in that position. Makes me so mad when ppl are all poor addict, NO poor kids, your the adult go get help. And don’t give them back that kid, it’s only when something tragic happen that those same ppl are poor child but it’s too late then.
God that mother got me really pissed, how could she do that to her daughter, and what got me even more pissed was the recorder. I would’ve scooped up that poor baby away from her seeing her mother like that, how it’s obvious that it’s happened before breaks my heart 💔 God bless that child in a more loving family 🙏🏽❤️
Getting them free help with their addictions would be more beneficial!!! Get them an addictions doctor , and help them by putting them on suboxone.

I recommend people read the book, "In the Realm of Hungry Ghosts", if you are interested in educating yourself about the deep underlying causes of addiction.
I've read some very ignorant and even abusive comments in this thread, and I do truly hope people will take the time to inform themselves properly and broaden the scope of their world view and understanding of trauma, before saying cruel and disqualifying things about people battling with addiction.

There's codes everywhere, just no one is paying attention.. It was 20 yrs ago roughly that ICE was released into Melbourne Australia , most interstate truck drivers are fueled by it while they power the economy delivering goods across Australia , heroin , fentanyl , cocaine etc are all onboard these vehicles and it doesn't discriminate , it's in upper class families also , it's just not being taken seriously and the care factor about the link between family genetics and addiction .. If the government and the communities cared , just as much funding would go into addiction and rehabilitation as there is for cancer , possibly the link between the brax genes and all probability it being linked with addiction are most probable and a cure right there at scientists fingertips , but our society has become so careless , people are often looked at as a lost cause , when in reality everything is connected..
Lupus , auto immune disease , Parkinson's , thyroid , Addison's & addiction all seem to be interlinked yet no one is willing to speak up from the medical industries as they make too much money from illness and can't seem to see the benefit's of wellness and healing and monetary and economical benefit's if people were healthy …
As an addict with 4 years sober and a 3 year old daughter, seeing these pics and vids of parents overdosing with their children watching them do it just breaks my heart. I feel so bad for those kids. I could NEVER do that to my daughter. You can say it's a disease, or not, fine, whatever. But it IS a choice. And you gotta WANT to beat it. it's that simple. What's more important to you? Your child? Or getting high? And for the people on here and so many others, it's the latter. If having a child isn't enough to wake you up, you don't deserve that child. There should be a way to prevent people that are active in addiction from having kids. I truly hope the children in this video go on to have happy and healthy lives. If you're an active user, please, DO NOT HAVE A CHILD!!! GET HELP!! Before it's too late. No matter who you are, I'm telling you, you can beat it.
