I have a D610 with a 24-85mm mounted. 50mm all fits perfect in camera organizer. Great pack.

Hi there. I have a nikon D5500 and AF-P 70-300mm and 18-55vr. I really want to know if this bag can fit my combo with the 70-300 attached to my camera? Thanks in advance.

Bought this for just an every day bag(don't even have a nice camera) and it works amazing. Like you showed here so many options and I just love the size and design. Thanks!

I don't understand why you say you cannot reach for the camera compartiment by putting the waist strap on and rotating the camera to the front of you body, just like you do with the Flipside series. Why not? Thanks

oh, and btw, do you think that adding a luggage strap to this one I could fit and carry one of those travel tripods on the side pocket? kinda in the way the lowerpro video 150 does?

  15. freak4speed says

Great review! Your review on this one and the lowerpro video 150 made me do the right choice. This one seems perfect for daytrips or ordinary tourism in cities. The inside pocket for the camera (on your back) adds security on the underground or the street. I have the same sony nex6. Thanks for the reviews, great work. cheers

Thanks for the vid. I'm thinking of buying one and seeing it on a vid really helps me to make a decision.

Are you shure that the Hatchback can't be used like a Flipside (move it around your body and open it)? I tried it today in a store and it seemed to work just fine.

What are the interior detentions of the camera cube? My camera is 7 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches with my main lens on and I can't tell if it would fit in the 16L's storage compartment.
    Thanks!

I'll check it out. Thanks again. Really appreciate the help.

And there is a Tenba pack I'll be posting on tomorrow that might work for you. I'll have it up mid-to late in the day.

  28. Larry E says

Looks good! I'll have to check it out at a store. I guess it's a little heavier than the hatchback and I suppose you lose the ability to use it as a dedicated day pack, but that may be worth the tradeoff for the side access. Thanks!

  29. Gear Diary says

    try this!
    lowepro.com dslr-video-fastpack-150-aw

  30. Larry E says

Thanks. I have been doing that and can't seem to find a backpack (rather than a sling) that is relatively small and light (I too have a NEX), good for day trips and hiking and has a place for an iPad, water bottle and snacks, etc. I really like the versatility of this and haven't found it in another pack yet. Any suggestions?

  31. Gear Diary says

You definitely can go that route but if that is important enough you might want no look at some of Lowepro's backpacks that have the side-loading feature.

Very helpful review. Thanks. I'm thinking about getting this bag. The one downside you mentioned is that you have to take the pack off to get to things. Actually, if you fasten the waist strap securely, you can take the shoulder straps off and swing the pack around to get to the back without taking it off. I looked at one at a store and it seems like it would work well. Perhaps not quite as convenient as a sling, but you get the benefit of a backpack.

    I'm really loving this bag!!

This is very good for going on a hike. Love how much cushions there are. A plus for the side pockets so you don't always have to open the bag to reach something that you need at all times.

Great video!. You actually answered my biggest question of, how deep the top pocket is.
