A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

То knоw mоre abоut frее websіte creаtіon. Googlе "clasywebsiteBuilders"
As web designer who uses WordPress, Wix, Duda, Squarespace, Webflow and also GoodBarber.
I can assure you that having a business website built in one of these website builders will serve your business better in so many ways. WordPress is nice but it's also a word of complications.
I shifted focus back to website builders, after I saw the success of a site I did in terms of boosting my clients business, they had requested Squarespace and I did the work, I did more than usual because there were more inbuilt features i could easily set up with zero hassle. Such as, awesome social integrations, like Squarespace page displays inside the facebook wall.
An e-commerce partner platform I work with asked me why I did not use Wix, so i decided to check it out, I was absolutely blown away. The designer/editor is by far the best in the world, super flexible and also full of intelligent features that are easy to appreciate after having looked for WordPress themes just to get some little feature a clients wants, only to find, now some other feature was absent.
If you want awesome design and visual appeal, use Webflow, its a learning curve but check it out, free version is full version and its worth a look
Will likely blow your mind
if you want fast and effortless, use Duda, its built for agencies but anyone can sign up
Duda is also a Progressive Web App and they are closely working with Google, as PWA is largely a Google venture, Progressive Web Apps are more immersive, tend to produce more return visits, and have features normal website lack, many websites are PWA, usually large corporations that can afford this NextGen technology.
If you want a classy website with solid look and feel but are okay with accepting the inherent design limits (limited by design to keep it clean)
Use Squarespace
If you want business boosting features, and to save money on things you may use to manage the business, like CRM and financial tools, plus maybe you spend on marketing, then Wix is by far the best.

"WIX" in the title of the podcast.. yet no mention or input of WIX in the ACTUAL content..
So far it's easiest to use for construction…

What do you guys think of my website? This is my first year doing event photography, would love some feedback.
bntzphotography.com
Thank you guys! I'm just looking for a website to create a Photo Portfolio and this video was a good introduction.
I'm surprised they didn't talk about Smugmug either
Really? I use Shopify to sell my prints. Squarespace is cheap and easier to use; however it just doesn't have the user base and support like Shopify or the ecommerce platform. I mean we do want to sell our prints after all.
What do you think about Smugmug? There is AWS full back up storage, security, privacy and you can customize to make it a complete website with customization, add pages, etc. Thank you for any feedback.
Classic… I know a guy! Niiiiice….
Really just posting to say thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Your criticism of Word Press is on point! I gave WordPress a shot and it gave me the blues! Now, my crappy webhosting company deleted all of my photos during a quote unquote upgrading their servers which did not help my WordPress experience, but I was planning to get a photography webhosting site anyway so it is all good.
Oh… I tend to ramble… Just a simple thank you and I made the jump to a basic plan with SmugMug. I do not sell photos, but SmugMug does have that feature. Much longer story…
But I will say this… SmugMug is a beast and I am very happy. I just finished uploading easily 5,000 photos plus to my SmugMug site and I am in the process of completing my design.
Good luck on your projects…
Thoughts on Photshelter?
Your channel is such a good source for photography information! When on the go, I tune into the podcast. Question- Which wordpress theme is being used for http://www.ImprovePhotography.Com?…It looks clean and is easy to navigate through.
nothing about wix??
Tried all of the above, but it’s Wix for me – have a look – http://www.sianpearcegordon.co.uk. Very sleek, customizable but easy to set up and change
What about Adobe Portfolio?
