A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

lol thank you both for the site review and the kind words on the work. not the first or the last to think i should change the branding, though it still goes strong.

se and shoots
SmugMug sucks.
Hi Guys! Do you have any info about SEO for this website? Cos' it looks like quiet nice… Thanks
you guys are awesome! thank you for your tips
Guys, maybe its an idea to hit the developer tools at the three dots in the top right corner and switch to phone mode at 7:50 so we can see what you are talking about. Thanks for all your video's Fstoppers, Cheers:)
I said the same thing about seandshoot and "hiding" something. That seemed odd to me not to have a name and face to connect with. Good photography however.
Great evaluation on the websites guys. Wondering if I could get your opinion on the multiple websites. Do you think if the brand is a person, should he/she have one site with their name for example, THEN, have three options let's say for things that they shoot (i.e. Seniors, Headshots, Commercial). Then, they choose what niche they need and each site stands on its own with only that one niche? Or, do three separate sites that may/may not have your name such as; naccaratoproductions, or ripcityheadshots, etc. for example? Just curious about what you think? Thanks again for the hard work you guys put into your channel.
You two are too young to be so old and clueless. You guys might wanna hire a new segment producer.
Sean D Shoots** lol
Hello! Thanks much, for the conversation on Website important features. In the future could you possibly also discuss handling Customer photography with artificial intelligence (AI) for photographers? Making life easier. My version of AI in practice is usable, yet my plans are not in place. http://www.v-tour.me Anyhow, thanks for the very helpful information. Safe and Happy Holidays to you and yours!
$ 10,000-day rate!? God bless.
Few years ago I FIRED myself from my photography business. I wasn't going to be a generalist photographer. I hired myself back as specialized in architectural photography and it was the best thing ever!
Wait , you are critiquing website design in 2018 (almost 2019) and you are a photographer, but not on instagram??? What???
Mine is markartphotography.com what is wrong with it?
I only do weddings and portraits on the side and I have even gone through and deleted all of the silly images on my Instagram and started to become more mindful of what I post. I find it hard to even get potential clients to even go to a personal website, they just want to see your Instagram feed.
isn't it "sean d shoots"? at least thats how I read it, but you never know hahaha
good video, thanks for helping the photography community @Fstoppers!
Very helpful, thanks. I want to recommend Trustactivity, this site can help you to get more traffic to your website , https:/www.trustactivity.com/ 7 days free, we using it for our company.
I just charge a flat rate of 50 gojillian dollars.
Love the commentary guys. I think one thing you guys didn't really dive into too much, was actual design, not just layout. One thing that I noticed almost immediately on Jason Charles Hill's page was that while scrolling through, his name would disappear or be half visible at times. The same with his navigation bar, items were at times just hard to see. While using sites like Format or Squarespace help with layout, making sure all of the design elements work at all times with whatever content is on your site is important.
The image dimension limitations in instagram are a turnoff and square images makes your work look cheaper and one dimensional. Unless you're an influencer, I'd be hesitant to use it as a portfolio platform.
is it just me or they are the best 😍 i learn from them so much since i found his channel last couple years 😍 i have some courses from ther website and guysyou should buy their courses it will improve your skills 😍 i even started yesterday and upload my first video on how editing photos like the pros in Lightroom. i would love some support and feedback so please hit subscribe and check it 🙏 peace ✌
Saying a guy's hair is better than yours is like saying "you have something I don't have" and hoping they take it as a compliment
Do one on Christmas photos
Great video right now, guys, what with Squarespace recently linking up with Unsplash! Would love to here your thoughts on that with regards to photographers
Always interesting to here what I can do to have a more professional profile on the internet. Any thing you think you guys missed in the video?

Definitely Sean D Shoots .com. Certainly a learning moment for Sean D as well as anyone else rather they already have a website or thinking of making one. Show people around you, a different perspective can always be helpful.
So helpful guys!
20:46 $55 for a preset pack, guy is ambitious, lol
This is perfect. I've been wanting to switch from Squarespace to Format for a bit. Thanks for the coupon!
Thanks guys… I now know I'm less than an amateur. 😅
Nice video guys!
I actually think his site was "sean d shoots". So technically, his name was on the site, it just wasn't apparent because of the spelling and lack of personal image/about/etc. Good stuff as usual, btw!
Great reviews guys. 👍🏾.
