Overall – a great video. However, your approach may not be for everyone. Lots of equipment, it is not a mobile solution, one needs a car to get it to location, and an assistant to set it up. Not mentioning knowing how to use it. You also need time allocated for assembling and disassembling the lighting set, and a client has to allocate a room for you. It may justify when being assigned to create headshots of a team, but too complex for taking a headshot for one – two person.
hey there just wondering were did you get the black reflector or did you just make it ? thanks
Nice
what is holding the backdrops?
I love the simplicitu of your videos. Straight to the point
I could have taken nicer shots on my iPhone with portrait mode. This was a bit of a sloppy job.
Can you pls tell me what case you are standing on (at 3:50) Thank You
Can you disclose your camera settings?
The catchlight on the first 2 are a bit spooky.
Hello… I'm learning a lot from your videos.. thank you for sharing…if using 85mm lens, what is the usual ISO and shutter speed setting for this actual type of environment in the office? Sorry if it's a dumb question. I'm just starting my photography business and planning to try corporate/business photography… thank you in advance!
you could of taken these with a phone
wow not too good at the headshot game guy.. you have way too much shadow, ever heard of a highlighter?
You used the 85mm for the entire shoot? Even for the group shots at the end?
These fast videos are really where it's at. Keep em coming, please!
You look familiar. Were you an actor?
Have my first corporate shoot booked the start of next year! A small team of 15 people and your videos have been helping me! Been getting a lot of practice on myself lol
As always – excellent. Two questions, please … 1) what were your camera settings for the "three heads" shot at 3:53? Incredible backlight through that window, wasn't it? How much light did you have shining down on them from that softbox? 2) could you point me to a video that shows how best to use that color matrix card at 4:27? Or does your Slanted Lens series have a video on using those cards somewhere? Thanks in advance. John
thank you sire.
Nice video, What is the white portable backdrop that you used? I looked through your links but I didn't see it. Thanks again!
Thanks J P. Your "how to" instructions, go along way.
I always learn so much from your videos-thanks!!
Outstanding work, Sir.
Hi! nice video, do you guys used make up on the clients?
Great advice, I'm always wondering how long a shoot like this should usually last. I take a bunch of different shots also every time I shoot.
Do you make a large portion of your business this way?
As always, great info and always loving your advices.
