Any chance you can elaborate a little more on that “compression stitching” you were taking about?
Good stuff. I'm gonna have to check out that rapid box strip light. Thank you
Thanks for your time Zach, do you have any idea where can we find them in Europe?
Nice photography
Learning a lot from these videos, thanks! Also, do you have any info on the dress the model is wearing?
why would you use shutter speed on 160 when you can go up to 250 knowing that the dress would be flying? and your composition compared to what you are shooting is really tight, take advantage of the view ffs. the model looks rigid and freezed, should have directed more feelings into her, she looks like "oh they told me to do that, okay". Good techniques but really bad directing, composition, and choice of settings. thumbs down for that one.
Send me the Raw, I would love to do a re-edit, you have the bones of a good photo but just not there yet.
Nice pictures but this heavy contrast and messed up colours in post make it look like it was taken with phone and run through instagram filters, very cheapo looking.
Instead of using those filters you can just try a HSS strobe. Thatll be easier!
Zack where are the the links you mentioned in the video regarding the ND filters?
Sir that was a beautiful shoot. I've learnt many things in this video.and want to learn more about outdoor shoots.how may i contact you
Great stuff…lots of info!!
Love your products! Zach's hair looks like it took longer to style than the models! lol
awesome pictures, one question is no way possible to used a equipment with high speed sync and have similar results, because a see some videos using that kind of setup but I don't know if can come with similar results, thanks in advance
Hate to say it but that light was way to harsh…she looked like a ghoul to me.
I found this pretty entertaining considering the strip light was so low of a exposure it was non existent in the exposure of the image… That or he had it angled off to the side missing the subject.
Love it Zach. The background looks beautiful. I have a quick question for you, do you think we achieve the same results with speedlights? Thank you so much, also I'd like to kmow what camera is your team using to record the video, it looks legit. Keep up the awesome and inpiring work, also that gym susbrcription it's paying off haha… I've been trying to drag my butt to the gym as well … Take care, stay well, thanks.
enjoying these videos a lot. Why use ND filters, when you can use HSS ? is it to get full power from the flashheads or something ?
Excellent Video ,as usual. Thanks.
Those strobes were the Elinchrom 500's? Caught a glimps but wasn't 100% sure 🙂 I'm using elinchrom d-lite rx 4's – I may upgrade to them next year 🙂 Love the Westcott modifiers though…I have the westcott rapid box beauty dish 26' – was my first modifyer and I still use it in my pack when I shoot outdoors! Light as a feather and easy to carry 🙂
Right outside my home town! Nice.. Excellent video..
