Life Lessons Learned Through Photography Lesson 4: No Risk, No Reward
We have evolved to treat uncertainty as something scary. Therefore we often stick to what is safe and known. But in art this leads to being bored, and even worse: never making your own unique voice heard! Learn the value of taking risks to increase the potential artistic rewards.

Sweet. Another person who is anti-icon.
I always love your tips.
Wise tips.
That's good advice
Great video…I'm friggin inspired now!
Love it! Recently I was exploring a canyon on Thailand searching for a unusual spot. I felt from the cliff and lost my motorcycle key, but still I decide that I'll continue exploring new places next time. That's just fun! Thank you for video!
I haven't watched this, past the intro, yet. But my first thought was Oooohhh Telescope Peak! OK. Now I can get on with watching. 🙂
Joshua trees as a backdrop, fitting.
I love that series, just because with every life lesson you give an excellent insight in your own experience. Thanks Josh!
Dear Mr Cripps, What is your favaourite location in New Zealand?
Oh and whats the name of that Music playing on your intro??
Thanks
More good stuff, Josh. Always look forward to your videos, and thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with us!
Thanks for the morning pep talk Joshua. Have fun creating something different today……
I'm new and need help to find a good editing software for photos….
When ever I got the chance i was just looking at your shadow.
I always like to think that "unusual" places that are now affirmed landmarks, were once places where no one had yet to discover their value as a visual and as a photo,we live in a beautiful place, and around every corner there could be a possible beautiful view,to me even the failure is kind of a reward,as i am trying something new and different,i am making my own path and landmarks! Remember that we as photographers should be explorers of the unexplored!
sry for my english, and as always beautiful vid Joshua, never fail to amaze me!
first!
