Personally, I feel it is important to always have discussion(s) with clients beforehand. Share ideas & exchanging ideas before the scheduled photo shoot are always helpful in breaking the ice, and to get the ball rolling. Also, I feel by being transparent & active on your social media also helps as this allows potential clients to know & understand how you work etc. It gives them some further level of confidence in you and your work 🙂
Thank you!
I like the idea of going for it and jumping in the deep end (as an ice-breaker). But it's important to make sure you have rapport and that the client has a sense of humor.
I meet with my client the day beforehand over a cup of coffee show her all the places we are going to shoot and ideas she has and I have so by the next day we are both very comfortable and looking forward to the shoot. As a male photographer it is getting the female feeling comfortable with you around. Have really enjoyed all my shoots
I'm a male photographer and I shoot boudoir, hey someone have to do the hard work right
I like the idea of starting with head shots.
Michelle as usual great video you are fantabulous in your presentation..
Very informative. Thank you!
thanks for the tips Michelle. For me, I create a play list of sexy, beautiful music and have that on while I shoot them. While I'm doing hair & make-up, I have fun music playing. A lot of classic rock & roll & some fun 80's music. Just stuff that that will put them in a fun, happy mood.

Look i dont always agree with what she says but it challenges why/how I do things, Thankyou tho
Boudoir style photography is about comfort of the person in front of the camera.. i get girls wanting to do photos with me because im young and cool and down to earth … they dont feel like the photographer is taking advantage of them… make them as conformable as possible by asking them how they want to do things and that they can do as much or as little as they like and that dont be scared photos can be deleted etc 🙂
I feel like females have advantage when doing boudoir photos… True?
