How to Shoot Portraits Like a Magazine Cover: Free Online Photography Lessons from Tommy Schultz
Think about some of the great portrait photos you’ve seen before.
Maybe it’s Steve McCurry’s famous ‘Afghan Girl’ on the cover of National Geographic? John Lennon’s cover shot by Annie Leibovitz in Rolling Stone?
I can still remember the impact those shots had on me the first time I saw them and I’ve been trying to perfect my portrait technique ever since. In this lesson I’ll cover the most common reason why portrait photos don’t turn out as well as you’d like and also give you some of my favorite tips to improve your own shots. (4 minutes, 53 seconds)

Great video content! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you heard about – Zetanniay Visionary Preset (just google it)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for creating stunning photos in minutes minus the headache. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my best friend Jordan at last got amazing success with it.
Thanks for the advice!
