Cut a small cosmetic sponge and put a slit in it so it will fit around your microphone. This makes for a nice, cheap windscreen to help keep the wind noise down.
Beats the 'NoPro' in my view.
Drop the microphone down your jacket or shirt to stop the wind noise.
Or put the camera in the waterproof case to stop wind noise and turn up the mic sensitivity 1 notch.
I wonder if and how you could get spare mountings to be able to use the camers on mote than one helmet i.e. motorcycle, pedal cycle etc

Got the camera, used it once as a helmet cam, started raining during the ride and it stopped working due to water ingress. I thought it was supposed to be water resistant, I guess it's not. I had the Stealth 2 since 2015 and never had an issue, in fact it's still working just fine but the battery is dead after 60mins of recording. So sad this camera isn't built as well as its predecessor.
I bought one of these and the purple panda mic…having a heck of a time hearing audio, though. Thanks for this video, sir. Subbed!

I have a question regarding the car DVR mode.
If you do have an incident and you are only halfway through your your journey can you file protect the previous incident and then carry on with your journey without worrying about the incident being deleted?

Really need something that shoots both forwards and backwards. I'm not as concerned about whats in front of me as whats behind me. I've been using the cheaper 360fly mounted to the top of the helmet (kupo…) but something less idiotic would be nice. Also the 360fly, while "water resistant" isn't so great at functioning while travelling at <REDACTED> miles per hour in heavy rain.

I was hoping I could use Car DVR and tag clips I wanted to keep, just like my $40 eBay dvr I use in my car. But this seems to be either DVR or Tag. Tagging is fine as long as you don't crash and pass out and are unable to press the button to save what happened! Good video, thanks.

so i have concluded its basically a $60.00 camera from china that someone is trying to ripoff for another ridiculous price to the unsuspecting public as usual. Audio on the side of the helmet is pathetic throw it away.
PROBLEM : I bought the Ghost X a week ago. I set it on DVR mode so it loops every 10 minutes. The issue I had was that it kept switching off automatically after only a few minutes
SOLUTION:
You must use a Class 10 memory card of minimum 32GB . Stress on class 10 – not lower

PROBLEM: Camera not charging when I plug it in
SOLUTION:
You cannot charge in DVR mode. Just deactivate DVR before you put it on charge.

Activating instant Record deactivates DVR
SOLUTION:
You simply have to choose which one you want – DVR or Instant Record – you cannot have both.

It looks like the app only works on android phones. Why does the app have to be on a phone, why not on your PC like some other cameras. I will have to replace my windows phone to get the app to work. Yes it will still operate independently, however the setup will be difficult and firmware updates impossible. Why can't someone invent a decent motorcycle camera that is just that, a camera. Would you buy a washing machine that has to be programmed using your phone. Yes I know you can faff about with downloads and just possibly get an android app to work on windows. Just make a decent camera that can be programmed and set up from your PC, via a website. Leave the phone for making phone calls (can anyone remember that).

1:22 I totally agree with you, square cams on top of the helmet looks awful. That's why I use "bullet" shaped cams, like Sony, Contour, etc…

Thanks for your excellent review. I purchased a Drift Ghost X and so far I'm quite happy with it. One question I have is that when I set the bit rate to high it's around 20Mb/s, not much higher than the default setting of medium. Any idea why this is the case?

Got a problem with my drift ghost x, I've just plugged it in to charge and left it until finished, guess what? Its been on charge for a full day its gone up by one bar that went 2mins after the initial turn on. as drift didn't supply a charger only a usb cable I'm wondering if the charger I'm using isn't powerful enough? It's a sony usb wall charger input: 100 – 240V ~ 200mA 50-60Hz. output: 5V – 1500mA. I use it for all my usb powered gadgets like my computer controllers, mobile, etc. I am most sure this charger is the one i used on my old drift with no problems, so what gives.

While I have been staying In Italy (Tuscany Region) very old historical town full of churches and decided to hide from sudden sand storm and rain inside of the Churc, just next to the park and square, have captured strange "white skull " on camera, hanging on the wall.. Thought to delete it first, but then decided to upload.. Any Ideas what is that??? its like a skull or someone face..?
