I'm 13 and recently started doing landscape fotography and food photography. I find it so cool and fun and I'm just using my iPhone XS camera to take photos. I'm planning on buying a more proffesional camera so I can start doing portrait fotography. I was thinking of the Nikon D750 or Canon EOS 80D. What camera should I go for? And my instragram is btw @emil05_ and @emils.kithcenn if you want to check them out! 😀

I just started out my YouTube channel and my photography business so thank u for this video! As a teenager, starting out in this industry as a part time job built from a hobby is hard work and enjoyable, but I’ve still tried to gather as much info from YouTube as possible.

So, I'm ready to start getting paid for photography. I know I can contact friends/family to do things, but how would you guys go about getting gigs, whether it be portraits, head shots etc? I know I can also use social media, and ask people to spread the word, but a lot of people don't always do that lol. Thanks!

Hey Jessica! I have a question for you. I'm only the beginner in photography and now I'm just taking pictures of my friends and some people who I have already met with. Should I take money from them? I really waste my time during retouching photos, so how I have to arrange with them?
P.S. Sorry for mistakes that could be here, I'm not native speaker 🙁
    Thanks for an answer💖

Are there pdfs for contracts ?

  18. DRGIZMO29 says

i am the very beginner as a photographer. what if it's a very small gig for like 30 dollars graduation shoot of my friend?
you talked about pressuring clients and there are so many standards that applies to different kind of people in different country with different cultures.

i've never had a contract with a friend with a gig that small, but should i make them sign a contract anyway? because right now i feel like making a contract with gig that small to a friend counts as a pressuring the client.

  22. Hero Shotz says

In the summer i look for girls taking selfies on the boardwalk and ask them if i can follow them around and take natural looking pics for $50 bucks and i hang with them for 15 20 mins then just transfer the pics from the cam to their phone. Boom easy cheese.

  23. Behind Enemy Lines says

So helpful! Thanks so much Jessica❤ I already started doing photoshoots for paying clients without a contract because I'm not 18 yet, what would you suggest I do?? For people who aren't 18 yet but doing photography as an income

  31. Charlottes Chapters says

This video was so helpful! I din't even think of a contract. I'm trying to start my business, but I don't know how to do anything basically. I have a website I have social media I have my style down. I've been practicing on my cousin and friends. And on my Facebook I got a request, but I had to turn them down because I don't have any taxes or licensee type things done I haven't filled my website or anything. Could you do a video on taxes and what you have to do for legal stuff and how clients pay you? I have a paypal now, but I think some photographers use cash or checks too. Not sure how to do all that stuff and I'm trying to figure it out. Also the pdf thing isa very good idea.
