SANDBAGS! Yes normally I would've had them. What some folks may not understand is that I just show up and shoot at these places many times with just the gear that I had with me from a previously planned shoot. We were coming back from shooting the eclipse where no sand bags etc. were needed at all. I decided on the fly to shoot this with the Lunagrip and decided to share my struggles with you all in the hope that it helps others out there. I could've easily weighed these down and shown you what a "cool" pro I am….but where's the fun in that? lol. Glad you guys like the video…:)
Maddie is an incredible actor/model. I love the pic at 7:27
excellent styling. perfect location.
WHICH BACKGROUND MUSIC YOU USE SIR AT 10:00
Jason your the man! I love your work and I'm not even a photographer. Lol
Do you have a link to the trigger you used? Awesome video by the way!
Take a assistant with you
Due to bad conditions he still made great masterpieces.. this was so great I loved it
Very helpful information. Thank you – now following!
An excellent model Maddie – Well done !
This time with the storm and the light falling down many times is more interesting,,,, kkkkkk 🥴🥴😵🤡
I normally use bare flash outdoors with those small flashers. You need all the power you can muster. Plus the stand with not tilt over.
bought that same table from Walmart! Super clutch!
Saludos desde Perú…
how you can sync ur flash gun in 1/1600 shutter speed of camera
Thank you for sharing. Great job!
Great job, where can I find like this diffuser?
The moment you throw your a9 with 70200 in the second shot to pick up the speedlight make me gasp loudly
nice video. its like a movie. wonderful job
Love the way she works, miss Maddi is a fine model, she makes the shoot very enjoyable and creative. Thank you Jason for this video

2 flyaway style sandbags will lay perfectly flat in any backpack. There is no excuse for this! Definitely hilarious though, so thanks for that.

Your Model if great, what a trooper! Awesome shots!
Many thanks for share your struggles because is the REAL life for most of us. I laugh because this happened to me sometimes. Congrats for your work man. Keep no going. 🙂
Well you really suffered for your art on that shoot didn't you. Still, the images you created were fantastic.
Loved the desert theme and your model was a good sport. It was like being on the set of Beau Geste. I was expecting a stray goat at any minute.
Seems like a decent product…
excelent!!!
You two are just lovely. Great content, great shots! 🙂
I love Maddi, but I would like to see her smile one in awhile. She always looks like she is in pain/sad. She is amazing either way.

How do you measure the correct exposure in these cases?
I love it
Beautiful model.
Amazing class. Can you explain how did get the shots with speedlight flash, shooting in 1/3200?
Awsome just awsome, no fancy equipment this is what its all about. Thats all is required is just a little bit of imagination, ok and maybe a very good lens but its the compostion that makes the shot and what can be achived with a single speedlight and a everyday reflector. just make sure you always take a food carrier bag with you just in case. JWD.
That drop :'(
And I do use the Luna grip……and my camera back holds it down via bottom of tripod
I like your stuff cause it’s real world shiz. This is how we capture magic….and it’s on point
Thnks u ar the best
Great job, Jason, I aspire to be half as good as you. I definitely have to catch one of your workshops, that is when ever you have anything in the San Francisco bay area. I have an insignia flash but I have trouble keeping it on, is there anything I should do? it turns off after a couple of shots. I have been looking into upgrading my lighting and I am looking for something that is relatively affordable that will work with the a7ii and all the other a cameras. Is there anything you recommend? I really can't believe I haven't watched your videos in so long. I just noticed that this is almost 1.5 years old, so yea I have been missing a lot of your content, I don't really know why youtube doesn't show your videos on my feed. But that is besides the point. One other question, I am having trouble getting clients, even offering my services really cheap. what do you recommend I should do to get more exposure?
Jason, How do you use quick shutter speeds without getting synch issues?
GREAT SHOOT, NICE POSES BUT FACE EXPRESSIONS NOT CREDIBLE
