I recently travelled to Japan with Jessica Kobeissi and we decided to do a fashion photography night challenge photo shoot in Shinjuku, Tokyo together! π
The only rule was to use no flash or additional/external lighting.

This was honestly a dream come true for me, I’d always wanted to do a photo shoot in Tokyo at night, so collaborating on this shoot with one of my friends was even better!

A nice video and you caught some good moments there but I would have liked to see you have the model interacting more with the environment instead of just using it as a background.

I've noticed your do a lot of outdoor shooting in bust metropolitan areas. Do you ever get hassled by passerby's or business owners? I would love to setup more outdoor shoots myself but I'm never sure where I'm TECHNICALLY allowed to shoot and I feel a bit nervous about confrontations with business owners or locals.

I wish you'd put info of each picture as well (iso, aperture and shutter speed). Or at least a few examples. I still had no chance to take pics at night time with minimal lighting so a bit scared to even try.

I love how all of these turned out! Seems like a very sweet and talented model as well. I was wondering, do you girls know much Japanese, and if not, do you find it difficult navigating Japan? I'd love to travel there someday, but my Japanese is quite basic and I worry about not knowing enough & getting lost.
