yeah what you always find with inexperienced fashion photographers is that they get crazy about locations and lighting and then the model is thrown in like a lump of playdough at the last minute…expressing nothing…her persona and character completely lost under the paraphernalia of whacky photography gimmicks…when you begin to understand you're shooting a human being and start shooting the model and not the lights and background you'll begin to be a better photographer…

I'm curious. The straight out of camera shots look (deliberately) underexposed. What's the rationale behind this? Obviously, the final pics look fantastic, so there must be a method to the madness. If I did that with my camera, it would result in too much noise….
