This was killer, thanks Alen 🙏 PS: love this style of video with the vlogging + educational info
Love it all! Thanks for sharing….would you ever consider doing a group meet up for local photographers? Where many could come together and shoot, learn & network together. 🙂 photo club making a comeback lol
Love your advice !!!! Thanks & really appreciate it. And you are so talented but still being so humble …. plus you are sharing your tricks to others. You are amazing!!! 🙂
How do u become friend with Peter McKinnon
Hey Alen, could you help gaining that confidence when you are in outdoors and shooting people. I feel little awkward when i shoot random people and they look at me like its a crime. How to deal with such things. Alen love your work. You rock.
You da man Alen!
Why dislike this eh?
I am 13 years old and i want to start photography, any advice ? 😕
Haha 15:25 was the best!!
Loved your video 😊
Hello Alan, your work is so amazing and inspiring me so much. I like your personal style and your art of photography. Thanks for all and good luck for your future. Greetings from Hamburg/Germany
What are the types of genres in photography?
I’ve seen a couple of your videos and I like that you don’t change your location with every point (or a sentence) you make like other youtubers. That technique can be distracting.
I guess you are great at what you doing. I enjoyed watching this video. But let me tell you about my part, I live in Dubai and you would be surprised to know that photographers don't really collab much and most of the time are being greedy and selfish even about the locations. I've wanted to shoot a location before and I looked for it over 2 months and I sent DM to many people who've been there without help, the only 2 guys who replied said that I should attend their workshop to take me there or I have to pay them for that. Long story short I am cabin crew and believe it or not I found the location looking of the window and I clicked a photo on my phone of the area around so I could find it on Google maps later on.
How did you become a part of the “dope squad” ?
that is some great advice! thanks for the insight!
thanks for sharing all this beautiful content with us!
really enjoyed watching this
I would like a video on how to make-save-uppload-sell presets 🙂
how to find buddies to help you film stuff haha.
Alen, I really appreciate your advice on this subject. I am a Biomedical Engineer and lately, my passion for photography/filmmaking is screaming at me! I am looking to make a slow transition from "science" to "art". You have inspired me with your incredible style of patterns, structure, colors, mood, perspective and all the elements that make you stand out in this platform. I sure hope someday to have the mature content you have displayed for all of us here! Thank you so much for the video and awesome points to boost my motivation to make my career move happen!
you should definitely do one in front of your camera! It could be very interesting maybe about "how to find your own style" because I think there's so much influence on Social media and people struggle with finding their own style.
i think you should shoot somewhere warmer maybe you can try here in Egypt sun always shinning no matter its winter or summer haha
Is it worth to open photo studio and what you need to do so?
What advice do you have for beginner photographers that aren't quite sure if they are taking good photos. How do we get better if we don't know how to improve our photography?
Appreciate the deeper more raw content man. It’s what we need to see more on YouTube now a days. 🙏
These kinds of video are **Really** useful, would love to see more 😉
Next time, please choose quieter places so that we can better concentrate on your message 🙂
Hey Alen, Very nice information and i love your photography tips…if possible can you make tutorials on how to edit photos on mobile phone apps… everyone can not able to afford lightroom therefore so many people uses free app like snapseed or fotor including me so i would like to see how you edit on those app and your tips to edit on those apps… that would be helpful…thank you
Yo! Another great video. When you coming to Japan?
I'm just curious?! How you can let the dog just basically stand on, and with his paws, basically scratching the camera body and lens? At any given second, just by random chance, the dogs nails could scratch that lens element?! Are you so care free? because its paid for by someone else other than yourself?! Canon sponsors you maybe or someone does?! So if something so happened to happen to it! YOU'll get another one any way, paid for you by said sponsor?! Because I'm not a pro, and I have to pay for everything I own! AND I BABY that MUTHER F*cking GEAR like its MY LIFE!!! AINT NOTHING COMING with in touching DISTANCE OF IT!! SO how are you so care free with it?!
I would love a video about advanced Photoshop techniques especially because I shoot crop sensor and I always feel handicapped towards people who have better gear. Yes I know better gear does not make you a better photographer but the reality is there are limitations when you shoot an entry-level crop sensor camera when it comes to being able to get super sharp and crisp looking pictures. I worry sometimes that I over edit to compensate. I'm also colorblind with reds and greens so it makes it very challenging for me to edit in a way that might be pleasing to the general population. I found that using Photoshop on top of Lightroom really helps with things like luts and photo filters and color lookup layers so I would love if you did an advanced Photoshop techniques video that would help us take a picture from normal to super
this is such an incredible video, as always!! i'm a beginner photographer and your videos are always such an inspiration.
Loved seeing you take the time to share some of the inner workings of the hustle it takes to make it happen in this game. Keep up the great work, Alen!
If you want to come somewhere warmer and still have awesome fall colors, come down to Kentucky! HMU if you want to hang out and shoot, this is for anyone @csweger0309 on IG
Thanks for the genuine advise brotha. Gotta get that website together pronto!
Maybe a video about composition, that would be really helpfull 🙂
Love this type of video, calm and complete! Great job
Maybe a little syrup in your beard?
Love your work!
Alen what is the name of the "tuning board" your using in front of the actual keyboard and what is it for exactly?
I think I need to add to what is all ready a grate video but what was lacking.
Now this is for photographers one big thing if your starting or if you have been in the game but plan to be in this as a career is do you love what your shooting. We all know there are many jobs you can take but you need to be a pro have elite skill in a particular area or love and want a majority of your work to come from that the only way is to shoot everything. Expand what you normally do and work on many projects. Yes this is not sustainable for long periods but this should take less then a month. It’s worth is and in doing so the way you go about doing this not only can get you big clients you build relations and experience in something you never knew you liked. Don’t make the mistake and picking a niche without testing driving most first.
Great video man, thanks to share!! I love your work! Peace!
I really enjoyed the chill pep talk! Thanks!
