This was sooo helpful
I know the 1st one cuz I’m experiencing it right now… I’ve done 4 fashion shows in 2 years and on my fourth fashion show I’m getting paid super less and only by one designer…
Thanks for sharing.
☺️
Very helpful!!
Hey! Just discovered you and have been loving your videos 🙂 Wanted to ask, what avenues do you get your income from? Model agency tests? Fashion campaigns? Magazine editorials? Lookbooks? Would appreciate some guidance! Thanks 🙂
You have no idea how your videos helped me get through my first official photoshoot yesterday with (more) confidence. So thank you heaps! You're awesome!
Got a lot to learn still..!
I absolutely loved these tips. Thanks for sharing these Julia!
When people say they want to shoot on the beach i think awwww, there going to be sand in place i don't want sand to be like my camera/bag.
How does the client use the contact sheets? Do they just send you back a list of image numbers, or maybe edit the contact sheet?
Some awesome tips here! Thanks Julia!
like the use of adobe bridge…thanks for sharing
can you guide me how to set up the picture style on canon 6D for portrait photography?
I am from vietnam so i do not speak english well ^^
Great tips! I have one question, you send the pdf with the image proof to your clients, and how do they pick the images they want? They tell you the name of the photo or they pick it differently? Thank you!
Thanks For Helping Me Juila What Classes Should I Take For Photography Because I Am In High School
Greetings from Lebanon Julia, nice tutorial and well done
Hat tip for sending Image proofs
Moment of silence…..Lol!!! This is amazing and I took lots of notes. Thank you!
thank u ♥
What do u think about the Sony A7iii, I wonder if you could get the same beautiful portraits with Sony colors.
I love tip 5 and need to try bridge now. Ty
Your work is fantastic and you are a post processing wizard, wow!!! Do you have any posted instruction for working with heavier lenses or lack of image stabilization? Obviously I should use a better tripod. But that may not always be suitable. And I really want to tap into those wider apertures on a aps-c body. My Sigma 18-35 & 50-100 are arriving shortly. I don't mind the bulk, but I am a little person!
Great tips Julia!!
you ate just the best Julia , thnx!!
cool tips…thank you
Thanks Julia, your video is great. I'm wondering how do you get in touch with clients? I'm a French photographer and I'm really struggling with this. 🙂
I don’t even do fashion and thought they were all great tips.
I seriously need to up my fashion game!
awesome. that adobe bridge tip is pretty cool saves time uploading them to a website for people to pick i guess?
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL, I was wondering if you would ever be able to put together a video of how to pose models or how to pose people that don't know how to pose? I shoot with a select few people right now because I know that they know what to do but I want to reach out and start working with different people since I find this to be a bit repetitive now and figured with the many years of experience you have you would know some tips or tricks 🙂
Julia what you forget in beginning….silent….Hahahaha…your yellow dress is pretty.
❤
👍
Soooo helpful! Thanks!
Very helpful video, thank you for sharing.
Wow that's a great point about photographers preferring a certain image and look as opposed to what the fashion client is looking for. I'm sure that can be quite surprising…
