Well in Finland we don’t have anywhere a dress code when I was in middle school a boy wore a shirt that said “Fuck Drink beer” and my friends cleavage would show I would wear a crop top off the shoulder also I have seen ppl wear see through shirts my friends bra wold how

  2. Erin Betik says

Personally I think that most of the rules for dress codes are suitable but some are just over the top.Girls shouldn't have to struggle every day to find an "appropriate" outfits to wear without breaking the dress code and feeling self conscious about themselves. And people wonder why some girls have anxiety issues.

  3. Siofra Murtagh says

I used to get dress coded at home by my gran! Over in the UK we have uniforms and me and my cousin went to two different schools and my gran used to tell my my skirt was too short yet my cousins was skin tight and just covered her bum and mine was loose and longer when you held them up together!! Just because I had longer legs eyeroll

  4. Prizzilla says

Yeah I always got dress coded for shorts while my friends got away with whatever size they wore because even though I was slim like my friends, I had a bigger bubble booty and attention was always brought to my butt in shorts. It sucked because i went to school in Southern California, walked home from school in the heat, and always wore jeans because of this.

  5. Michaela Tohl says

you should do a video where you wear knock offs for a week

  6. Mary Walsh says

soo my high school doesn’t really have a dress code, you can wear tank tops and sometimes you can get away with tube tops, and like short shorts are usually ok if you don’t show your butt

  7. Taylor Condie says

what HS did you go to?

  8. Aubry Snoddy says

Guys at my school: I just got dress codes for wearing a shirt that has a 15" slit on it

    All girls: grabs book*

    Guy: what's that

    Girl: the dress code book

Guy: why is it so thick

Girl: why do u think we only were hoodies and shorts that go down to our knees

    Guy: why

Girl: cause the school thinks it is "to distracting" for u guys

  9. Kitana Lara says

I'm in 7th grade and get dress coded for showing cleavage all the time and it was barley any each time

  10. Ren lafam says

My school was black, red and gray pollos .and black or tan pants …..I had to wear uniform for middle school and highschool

  11. TheAngelic Emerald says

So girls can't be distracted by guys shoulders either, schools? Well.
How about that time when jimin "accidentally" had his shoulder exposed in BST mv? :PP

  12. Sarah Olson says

school dress codes are such a damn joke!!!! especially because im a plus sized person!!! i got dress coded at least once a semester for something but i managed to get out of each offense almost every time (except once, yikes) when i called them out for being based on a misogynist set of principles…. the pros of being a young angry feminist!!!

  13. xXPixXx says

I think it really depends on the teacher. The second outfit was totally dress code appropriate but could have been called pajamas from assumptions and gotten you dress coded anyway

  14. MonkiesInBearSuits says

We had a school uniform at my high school. The problem we had was with shoes. Our rules stated 'all black covered shoes'. We would wear all black lace up, casual sports (skate shoes) type and be in trouble. Which didn't make sense. Same with your school, it was about interpretation. The teachers would tell us we need to wear hard top formal type shoes; but that is not what the guidelines said.

  15. kayhhogan says

Pretty much all of your outfits would've passed the dress code for skinny girls at my school but none of them would've passed for me either the shorts would be too short. The tops too low cut, or the shirts being too tight/fitted.

  16. Chelsea Potter says

The schools where I live we were made to wear uniforms and black leather enclosed shoes. But when the schools had free dress day {wearing your own clothing} we had rules that focused on both genders.

  17. Caitlin Bradley says

Any of your outfits that had shorts because my school only allowed shorts Aug – end of September and May – June. So since it's only April you would have gotten dress coded for those.

The dress for day 2 would have been coded for cleavage and possibly the arm cut outs.

Leggings we only allowed to be worn under dresses and dresses could only be at most an inch above knee. If it was more than that it was too short. Same for shorts and skirts.

And on me any type of blouse, u neck or v neck shirt showed too much cleavage. If it wasn't a normal t-shirt odds are it got dress coded on me.

No flip flops or open toed shoes were allowed. Heels had to be less than two inches.

Oh and clothing couldn't have crosses or religious symbols on them

I live in California and my High School has a super chill dress code. The rules are basically just super reasonable rules that make it so no one's flashing anyone 😂😂

  19. Luna The dog says

In my school girls have to wear uniforms but boys don’t need to wear uniforms

  20. Natalie Weed says

i can totally relate to getting dresscoded for things that other girls wouldnt because they had less to show…

  21. Natalie Weed says

you look so beautiful without any makeup !!!

  22. Tegan Stampton says

So glad I live in Australia and every school has their own uniform

  23. BeastBeauty says

I could only have worn that dress that you wore at the fancy restaurant with like a bandeau or cami underneath because the high school dress code acts like having any sort of female anatomy is a secret sooooo

  24. thundercaya says

You must have lived in a nice area. Where I lived you could get away with sexy stuff (depending on the teacher) because the staff was much more concerned with anything that looked like gang attire. As such, boys got dress-coded A LOT more than the girls because of baggy pants and bandannas.

  25. Savannah Keller says

Girls at my school wear shorts with their literal butts hanging out and never get dress coded.

  26. Cassidy Kristina says

In my school our dress code is called the 6 B’s which is where we can’t show Bras, boobs, Belly’s, Butt, Back, and Boxers which is for both girls and guys. However, from experience only the girls seems to be the ones getting dress coded 🙄

  27. L& C says

There high school sounds like a prison

  28. ЅPᎯRᏦLᎽ says

My schools only dress code is no crop tops…

  29. Karissa Haines says

One of my friends got dress coded for some shorts that fit the dress code but the teacher said that they looked inappropriate on her, so one of my guy friends decided to wear boxers to school to see if he would get dress coded. He did not.
