10 years ago when I moved to the place that I Live Now I would wake up in the middle of the night around 3 with this tune in my head and I couldn't figure out what it was so I looked for it it took me about three months because I would only here a few notes it was this song I never have figured out what it means other than to make memories now those people will stay with you forever thank you Ringo and George is my favorite song Always
So many wonderful touching comments about this song. To me it does stir in me happy, yet also melancholy feelings, of my youth. fun times, lost loves , lost loved ones, unfulfilled dreams. It's a very powerful song . I love the sound of it, love hearing it, yet must be ready to deal with all the emotions I feel, the losses, the loneliness, the youthful years gone so quickly, whenever I hear it. Ringo is one of my all time favorite rock legends, he does a great job with this timeless song.
