    Hi, Jimmy. The challenge is keeping light off the backdrop. Having the light off-axis and with some sort of snoot helps to reduce the amount of light that spills onto the backdrop. If you use an on-camera flash, it just means you'll have some extra retouching… but you almost always have some level of retouching to do, anyway.
