Hello, do you think this would be a good combo with the A7III? I shoot primes and I was thinking that a 2 camera set-up would be good for wedding photography. Thanks a lot!

Hi Omar… I am getting ready to start as wedding photographer, actually own 3 cameras but well, although it IQ is great 2 of them are not much suitable… the Canon 1DS mkIII and the Nikon D610. The 3rd camera is a Canon 5D MarkII. Now… that the A7III and the A7RIII are on the market the A7RII's price went down nicely. Would you still recommend me buying the A7RII for weddings? What first Native lens to buy for weddings? Could I use my Sigma 24-35mm 2.0 and Canon 70-200mm 2.8 with the Sigma MC 11 adapter on the A7RII ? Thx for your advises. Other friends are welcome with commentaries. Thx.

Great vid Omar. I just started using the A7rII and I can't believe I waited this long to make the switch from Canon. I'm looking to grab a 35 for this bad boy. I saw the review you did comparing the Rokinon and Zeiss 35 and was wondering did the eye af feature work with either of the 2. And what lens did you get these shots with. Awesome!!!! Thanks man

Love the photos man. I recently switched to Sony from canon and have a few weddings coming up glad to know the Sony can handle it.

  21. Claud Roman says

by ''grace'' I think you meant dynamic range

  22. TM C says

The A7R II is not a professional camera!! ALL professional cameras have 2 card slots. The Fuji X-T2 and a Fuji GFX 50s is the best combo. A properly processed GFX 50s will have Much Much sharper photos and Much better colors than any Full Frame camera.

  23. Joseph Insole says

Can you share your settings on your camera?

  24. Minolta4Life says

Never trust the silent shutter with working with room lighting you can run the risk of banding. Outdoors on a Sunday no problem.

    Just trolling.

All joking aside I have a lot of respect for you as a photographer your not one of those Loser Lanier clowns.

  25. Minolta4Life says

I would sue you if you photographed my wedding with a Fony camera.

I only ask because I’m wondering if the A72 fell short as a wedding camera for you, simply because that’s the camera I’m eyeing.

  28. Edward Walker Jr. says

Thanks for sharing, I found this very helpful. I’m looking to get into weddings myself. Do you have a second body? Also how was your wedding experience with the A72? Thanks for your time bro in advance!!!

4:24 and 4:28 are great shots. Well done. If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a question. When you shoot group portraits, with 2 or more people, what F stop do you choose to ensure all faces will be in sharp focus? Say I was using the 28mm. F 5.6?

  32. MadnessMobile says

Some say the absence of 2 card slots and poor battery life are the main reasons you should not make this your main camera for wedding type photography.

See if u could do a video on the best lenses, both third party and native, along with some comparisons. Wouldn't mind seeing how the Sony A7 rii does against other cameras of it's caliber. You def got a like and a sub out of me, keep up the good videos.
