Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy and Dean. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he never could have imagined.

This is a movie based solely on racism. Since it was a liberal writer and producer, it’s ok.
I wonder if Peele toyed with the idea of having Logan come to his senses, realize he had his mind back, pretend to be the old white guy, and then have a private conversation with chris to try to convince him to leave and then mid conversation have his mind taken over again by the white guy.
I do like the decision they made with this scene but I also like the subtle terror of talking to somebody who’s trying to save you and then all of the sudden having them disappear.
