Wildlife Photography | Roe Deer Affection | Nikon D850 & 500PF
Shot in Hampshire, South Britain. Roe Deer are known for being affectionate, and you can see why! I was so lucky to be able to get close to this adorable pair. I also see ducks, gulls, swans, redwings, a treecreeper, a red kite, wild horses or ponies, and even an appearance from a water rail that I didn’t see until I was editing (let me know in the comments if you manage to spot it).

Very hard to get deer in the alps.. got these in the darkness, surprising how the lens focused on them https://youtu.be/MUY2a6pp1rU
Beautiful, thanks for sharing!
Hi there is this 500mm PF ideal for sport? I would love to hear from you. Many thanks.
Great video! 👍
Awesome work man! How did you set up for the deer shots? Did you come in early and wait or was it spot and shoot situation?
Lovely video and very professionally done very enjoyable 🙂
Hey can you do a video with the d500 if you still have it vs the 500mm pf and the d850?
Thanks for a good story and some nice pics and vids!
Hi, Rob. Thanks for sharing this nice video.
Keep an eye (or shall I say lens?) on that pond and the park, as in 4 weeks time the latest spring hopefully will have arrived, these places will explode with fresh life and there will be plenty of work for you and your equipment to do.
No wonder you couldn't detect the rail during the take. It was behind your right shoulder and would probably have been too dark disappearing too fast for a good shot. Looking forward to its foto during your next excursion to the lake, though.
very nice shot with Roe deer 😀
Great video!
Awesome video ! 🙂
Very Cool!!!!
thank you, it was a very nice video. Thanks you. Greetings from Germany.
Bonjour Rob,
Really nice video. Loved the deer footage.
Very nice video. I really enjoyed watching it. The little bird at 5:37 is that a type of creeper? Last summer I had a Brown Creeper in my back yard( North central Oklahoma, USA) for a few weeks a really fast little guy I never did get a picture of him.
