Btw, I can use my G6's pop up flash to trigger the speedlight but I'm not completely happy with this method. I'm getting contamination from the pop up flash even though I turned the power all the down and put thick card in front of the flash.

Beautiful result with a simple light set up. Could you recommend some reliable but affordable (budget) flash triggers? I have a Yongnuo 560III but my Yongnuo TX and RF-603 unit don't seem to work with my Panasonic G6.

I tried your set-up (off flash camera, and I set at manual mode with flash trigger) and put the flashbender in front or slightly left of the subject, but I always end-up having picture with red eye of the subject. Any idea why and what is the solution? Many thanks.

thanks for the video.. I'm very new to flash photography..I'm having trouble getting the exposure right.. I set the camera in manual mode so that the back ground exposure behind the window is completely blown out (minimum exposure that loses any detail in background), put my subject in position, yet with this exposure the face can be seen OK with not too bad an exposure as set to blow out background.. but when I add a flash with the flash bender even at minimum power and in manual (non TTL) mode the face becomes totally overexposed/blown out and weirdly (even though the exposure is manually set) some of the details in the background start coming back (which of course I do not want) -I am not sure how to balance the exposure, maintaining the blown out background (& not bringing details of the background back) whilst finding the perfect exposure on the face simultaneously.. any advice would be gratefully appreciated! thank you in advance!

+Ricardo Rasa, an umbrella is often referred to as a "light grenade" as it is a large light source that throws light in multiple directions. The umbrella will be larger so it will naturally produce a softer light from farther away. The FlashBender 2 modifiers are used to direct light and prevent it from spill in certain areas, alternatively it can be used as a larger bounce card to produce softer fill flash. What are the differences with using the Rogue Flashbender 2 Vs. Regular Shoot-through umbrella? Do they perform the same?
