Authorities identified the suspect in Friday’s deadly Texas school shooting in Santa Fe as 17-year-old Dimitrios Pagourtzis. At least 10 people were killed in the attack, and 10 others were injured. Pagourtzis posted images on social media of a “Born to Kill” tee shirt, guns and a trench coat with Nazi memorabilia. CBS News correspondent Omar Villafranca has the latest information.

Gun laws do matter, but criminals will find a way. This kid did! And it seems that his parents weren't aware of what he was posting on social media to put correct action into place (either calling the cops or removing the guns from their home until the kid got help). And if people did see this stuff and tell someone, the people they told obviously didn't take it seriously. Not a gun problem! It's straight neglect! That's what needs fixed in this country.

A lot of these shooters copy Columbine when it comes to the pipe bombs, shirts with slogans, journals expressing their hatred, and the radicalism like One if the shooters was. Columbine was a failed bombing they originally planned to bomb the school then shoot people as they were running out, which is the only reason they made bombs, a lot of the copy cats don’t know that . Also with the journals, majority of people nowadays wouldn’t be writing pages of how they felt in a journal unless it was meant for someone to find it. Not saying nobody Could have a journal these days BUT it was more common back in the 90s to have a personal journal to write in, almost like a diary.
I blame the media for this one…… this needs to stop our children should not need tactical gear to go to math class. Cut the b.s. and lock these schools down, armed security staff, metal detectors etc. I thought some of these provisions weee taken in the 90s because of gang violence.
