You bouncing a little bit behind tip was great. I had issues with changing the direction of the flash head as soon as the subject turned to the sides but now I understand what I can do to overcome it. Many thanks.
Nice shot at 5.00 mins.
Can I start small weddings with Nikon D3200 with 85mm f1.8g, Nikon 17-55mm f2.8, Nikon 40mm 2.8 micro and Nikon 55-200 f4.5.
I also have the interfit S1 monolight flash.
Might get the D500 early next year.

Is it worth buying a wireless trigger system for my speedlight? That why I can hold it with my free hand and angle it how I want? Or would it be a better idea to just keep the speedlight on top of the camera and rotate the head?

I think the explanation is much simpler than the how it is practiced. That is why (IMO) Brian is one of the masters of wedding photography. In any case, it was helpful and appreciated. Thank you Brian.
Great video!
7:22, by moving a light closer you make it softer?
love the shot at 4:17
Your use of the flash is art, you can argue the merits of natural verses artificial light all day, but art is art. You wouldn't look at a painting of a peacock and say it's not very good because they chose to use a peacock quill instead of a brush……. Stunning photos, I learnt a lot.
good tips ! thanks !
he is just great!!!!!
One of the most specific tips ever saw in videos. And the best or most surprised me was you said just turn the camera to portrait mode to change the direction of the flash light..that never crossed in my mind before…thank you very much
