Which is your Landscape Photography favorite lens?
You are very funny to watch. Not in a bad way. Your accent, way u joke around, great dry humor, and honest review. I'll be buying 2 of these you've recommended. Thank you Sir.
Great, I'm looking to buy a 70 200mm. So pleased to see .
Great advice, and I think this lineup of two primes and one telephoto zoom is an excellent, non-heavy choice to carry on a day out shooting
Canon 16-35 f4 L is my fav
24-50 and 55-200 on my Nikon d300
We have the same vision in landscapes. Very beautiful landscapes. Like I said earlier I enjoy using the early model 17-35mm 2.8 lens on my Nikon D850.
My Nikon 17-35mm 2.8.
Sinceramente uno dei più bravi fotografi che io abbia mai visto BRAVISSIMO
Sigma 20mm f/1.4 on 5dsr
Thanks for this. Every person starting out in landscape photography should see this video before they buy their kit! I wish I had.
Great and useful video but… please do not use that circular lamp that makes you like an extraterrestrial 👽 😃
The only right idea is the 20 mm f1.8, other than that, nothing is.
Tokina 12-24mmm SD F4 (if)DX works for me.
Nikon 24-120mm f4 vr my go to lens. I would like to know your thoughts about this lens?! Gracias 🙂
I just turned into Nikon my first perches is Nikon 810 24-120 f4 I am thinking about 24-70 mm f 2.8 Nikon lenses please advise me is this lenses good for long exposure Or should I buy. Sigma same lense
I love your philosophy! I've recently switched my method of doing pano's with the nifty 50 also (no reason to do pano's with a wide angle lens anymore!). I have the 20mm too, which I purchased because of the landscape AND night sky and milky way photos. I don't think that lens gets enough love as it deserves, or perhaps it's just not as known for the work it can do. The one other lens that I have which comes in really handy in special situations is the 10.5 dx fisheye. It works well on the full frame cameras in crop mode! I got some great photos of a waterfall close up.
I have the 16-35mm and I mostly shoot astro with it. I've heard great things about the 20mm but are the differences in f 1.8 and f/4 enough to spend $800 on a lens when I already have a decent night sky lens? I wonder if it could be as sharp as the 14-24mm?
Hi Attilio, great channel you have here! You mentioned making a video on panorama photos using the nifty-fifty. Do you think you can do it? Thx
My favorite wide angle lense has been the Tamron 17 mm f3.5 manual focus lense used primarily with my Nikon N90s. I now use mostly the Tamron 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 DX zoom lense with a Nikon D500 and with a Nikon D850. The Tamron 10-24mm covers the entire FX frame of the D850 starting at 15mm and f3.5 to 24 mm. For $500 US this is a sharp rectilinear lense.
The 20mm is definitely my favourite lens, great video 👍
Excellent video! I have a 70 -300 and a 50 lens and have been looking for the best wide angle. I think you have what I need so that will be my next. I want to do more panoramas so I will try using the 50mm. Your landscapes are awesome!
Hei Attilio! I love your videos! 🙂 I have a question about the 20mm 1.8! i have a nikon D610, I'm searching a prime lens that can be light and not so big for my travels and my hiking and excursions, a lans that can support radial filter and that can have good performance in star photos! So I am in doubt between nikkor 20mm 1.8, nikkor 24 1.8 and sigma 24 1.4 and the nikkor 28 1.8. What do you suggest??!
As an a rank beginner photographer I do get a lot out of your videos, They inspire me to get outdoors with my camera
thanks for this video, I love the idea of the 50mm prime!
thank you for your great videos, you are really contributing in an amazing way to the creative community. My wife and I are new to photography and have learned SO much from you sir. I have a Q, we are wanting to buy a good prime wide angle lense. We will want to use for daily portrait, event, wedding type photography but also for travelling when we go to Africa to photograph mountains, rivers, ocean…. im considering the one you use FX 20mm 1.8G but also looking at the AF-S 24mm 1.8G ED. do you have any experience with the latter?
Nikon d810 20 1.8 thanks to your recommendation. Incredible.. A 50 1.8 and the 28-300 for an all purpose walk around
your photos are amazing
Hallo again!! I am following yours tips, but I found a Sigma lens 14-24mm art, less expensive than the similar Nikon. And I found as well the 20mm Nikon. Which one do you recommend?
Thanks
Excellent video. Thank you. Subbed.
I love 24-70 f2.8,
Is it just me or is everyone else just starring at his eyes, great video and agree with with it, I only have 2 lens for landscape and it suits me well, eyes are crazy, I can't focus.
Good tips!!! Perfect!! Thanks
Hi, what prime wide angle would you recommend for a DX? That 20mm looks nice but will become something closer to a 30mm on the smaller sensor from what I understand. I’m only on dx due to budget restrictions and want a step up from my camera phone. I plan to eventually get a full frame but the cost of them scare me atm. Thanks for the video.
Bravo.
Totally agree for lens. Best quality, low weight.
I use a 28-75mm f2.8 and my workhorse 18-400mm f3.8
Thanks Attilio. Another a great video here. When my new camera body arrives I have a 24mm AiS to attach for wide a angle. I'm hoping will this old lens will give reasonably sharp results of the landscape. A 20mm will be upon my next wish list though. Thank You.
