very interesting video, you are the only person ive found touching on this subject, ps i love the awsome camera collection you have, very nice. just wondering if there is a way to burn images onto screens using film negatives and an enlarger. and is there a way to produce halftones from this method, or would it just be easier to scan the negs and convert to grayscale in photoshop then print too film. ps great video.
Stay tuned! Thanks for the support! ☠
Alright, sweet! I'll be looking out for that. Thanks!
Nope, I make these videos in my spare time with mostly things going on in the shop at the time. I will do a video about doing a 1 color spot and dot which will go over the halftone output which should help you out but you’ll need Illustrator or Corel Draw to do it with RIP software and an inkjet printer with water proof inkjet film. Thanks so much for watching and dropping me a note. ☠
Do you have a video on how to make a halftone design for screen printing? I created text that has a b&w photo behind it and I cannot figure out how to turn it into a halftone properly. Have a good weekend! Hope to hear from you.
Yes, you sure can as long as you have a way of creating the film positives to size. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
Can you use digital photographs not film photographs?

Very nice.
@Brew2365 I used to be a studio catalogue photographer in Manhattan before 9/11. All of what I know is geared toward analogue or “silver nitrate” photography and films. Digital is a much different animal and a different breed in my eye. But, yes. I may do some videos on photography at some time in the future…. please subscribe and stay tuned!! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
@Brew2365 Hey there, thanks. Happy to hear you enjoyed the video. Yup, Wilflex is a good ink. I have never used High Build inks before. I don’t think… Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
and one last thing. you mentioned that you did photography, every thought of making videos on what you've learned? Rick
Hi Interesting Video My Friend.
Ive been involved in the screen printing game now for over 18yrs. But from a different point of view. I used to manufacture and colour match inks for Polyone (Wilflex) in the UK. and I've also more recently Union Inks also in the UK. but as for the printing side, i didn't get to do much. although i know a lot about all the technique used. Have you used High Build inks before?

@TOMsPRINTS Thank you very much; I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I definitely want to do more videos about this type of printing. I just have to find the time to work on some personal projects. Eventually I will get to this and actually print something in a video. Please stay tuned and thanks for the support! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! ☠
