When you take the testshot with the Yungnuo, what power does this flash have? The others are 1/8 (backflash) and 1/64 (flash from the side). But what power on the mainflash?

  2. Рустам Фриман says

Nice! Good! But still more girls goes to rich photographers.. 😉

This comparison is nonsense. You don't even use the same reflectors with every light. :/ This video says nothing about anything.

  4. McScott76 says

The bottom line is that 99% of fashion photography happens in post. So you might as well shoot with an iPhone, because the real "art" of fashion magazine shots doesn't even begin until the retoucher gets started in Lightroom.

Any yahoo with a $10K set of tools can build a house. It takes a real master carpenter to do so with a handsaw, hammer and nails. I think Confucius once said that. Or was it me?

what a stupid video, next time test a ferrari vs fiat500 ?? both at 50km/h and says both arrived at home but not with the same number of persons looking at you… lol

  8. bbtank3000 says

Lighting is very flat in both photos. Was this the intention?

  9. Mat Smith says

Why do people feel the need to come on here and comment about how happy they are using cheap equipment, and how other people shouldn't need expensive equipment? It's a strange phenomenon, not unique to this channel.

  10. Sebastien DONG says

Honestly, he might known well how to shoot photo, but in my opinion he knows nothing about the respect and the psychology. If somebody always blablabla about the "Cheap. Cheap. Cheap " around by you, you act maybe as same as the model. The quality of photo, in means nothing cause the beginning of this shoot is unfair, and we have another one step call "after edition" in PS. Please

Maybe it's the photographer. All the pictures are drab and lifeless.

  14. Gabriel Garcia says

Yes, you got the difference, in the poor light the model don´t smile, in the rich light she does. Tricky boy 😉

  15. Timo Schäferkordt says

You could even have replaces the 3rd Speedlight with a reflector

  16. Violet Thompson says

Don't forget the cost of all those light stands and counter weights lol

  17. Anne Spellberg says

    Great video. Love it. Thanks!

  18. Obeijin says

    A poor man can afford a D850 and 70-200 2.8 lens ?

  19. Obeijin says

    I have a $ 30 2MP Hello Kitty camera …

Well let us put it this way, a Broncolor flashes can be placed 5 meters away from the model and still working fine, but when you use the same method on Godox or Yongnuo flashes, what do you think the result will be, its not about the equipment ( of course if you saying megapixels or stuff that is another case ) but its how you use your equipment, just place the flashes closer to the models so you get brighter lights. You basically misguiding much people who are new to photography. They will think with good equipment they can be as good as professionals. You give broncolor flashes to a photographer who just learnt ISO, Apertures and etc, what kind of picture can he take? And if you really put a lot into photography, when are we rich, we will be always broke as fck as we keep buying new equipment. (Sry for bad grammar, my english is sht)

    No need profoto !

A good photographer can take great pictures with a shoebox. A good photographer can take photos with a bunch of candles and a desk lamp. I can see no magic here and I’m afraid not all the costs were mentioned in the video. For me a ppor man’s photography would begin under $100 including camera, lens and all other gears, even the rent of the place where the shooting occurs.
