Howey Mansion Photo Wedding Workshop with Off Camera Flash by Jason Lanier Photography
Join award winning wedding photographer Jason Lanier for a shoot and photography workshops at the historic Howey Mansion in Howey in the Hills, Florida. PLEASE THUMBS UP AND SUBSCRIBE.
Jason takes a small group of photographers into the Mansion with permission and conducts a workshop using the Interfit Pro Flash Strobie system for off camera flash utilizing all different kinds of angles and ways to create imagery.
All images were edited only using Lightroom to give the user an idea of what the shots looked like without too much manipulation. We thank you for watching and hope you check out our other videos while you’re here…:)
Love the locations and his enthusiasm. Only thing I would change is his posing. Models that pose with elbows toward the camera shorten their arms. Other than that I really like him a lot.
wow some of those shots look like a million dollars
Amazing
When you said you don't know how long you have to shoot there, does that mean you just went in that place without permission?
good Sir
your work is amazing!!!
You have such a gift for making places and people so beautiful through your photography. Thank you for sharing these places to which you have traveled. You inspire! Which lens did you use?
I know many photographers won't share their tips, but I would love to know how to find some great abandoned spots like you do. I don't have a team just me and my sis and the model 🙁
I am not trying to be a ass but just an observation..I am not sure if he let the people in his in his workshop use his trigger and flash so they could get great shots. I am sure he may have and he just did not film that part but it comes across egotistical how good his shots are and how he keeps praising his shot. like when he said does not have to WB because his shots are great. The woman had asked about WB and he really did not answer her question at least on the video. There is no question he is very good, I think he is so good at composition and his poses are wonderful but he does not come across as a good teacher on location because he is so into himself..again, I am not trying to be an ass just that is how this video came across. I could be wrong..
How did you get permission to shoot here?
Hey, Jason would it be too much to ask or too much trouble for you to put small text in the corner of your photos as to what lens you were using for that particular shot? I'm just curious as sometimes it's not clear what lens you are shooting. I really loved the look of the photos at 12:32. Do you happen to know what lens you had on?
i learned a lot from your video brother..keep it up.
wow,
los mejores videos que he visto
Saludos Pablo
Hi Jason love all your videos that you do, just a couple of questions though, how do you find these locations in the States and how do you get permission to shot at these locations? I live in Brisbane Australia. Thanks for these awesome videos please keep them coming.
amazing location!!!
Very informative and creative workshop video, love the backlighted Pics.
Beautiful house and pretty girl, but the photographer was creepy with the sweetie- baby- honey talk. Could not even focus on anything because he was so annoying and unprofessional.
Hey Jason, how do you sync your flash with your ability to release your shutter multiple times a second?
this is big command work! great place
Oh I read where it's in Florida! Do u use 85mm prime for all these?
What happened to this house? Where is it? It's beautiful!
"Kiss my grits." Lol who even says that? Amazing shots like usual m/.
Pretty model
Awesome place. Mosaics look great with lights.
