A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

mike wins all the way! if im buying a house i want a realistic representation of what im buying with real views
To me, the shot at 16:56 looks worse than the original. What's with the weird vignetting? This looks like something that someone would do the first time they discovered the filter menu in Photoshop. No offense… I just don't get the purpose of adding such an obvious artificial vignette if you're a "professional" architecture photographer. Why not just correct exposure and maybe boost contrast and let the natural lighting speak for itself? To each their own, I guess. I still appreciate the video… very entertaining. You have a new subscriber.
Why does lee has to make such a competition out of it? I mean it is one but… He sounds kinda mean
Unpopular opinion: I like Lee's photos better.
It was so fun watching this! 😂
Oh, I think saw that house in Dragon Ball Z.
Great show, thanks!
do you know how to " respect " the house? dafuq kind of way is that to hold a plant and standing and dragging furniture dafuq?…
The outside from Lee feels cozier, because of the vegetation, but it's fake, to cover the other house, so as soon as the person went to the house they would see the truth. The sky from Mike is so much better that it's very hard to choose, although it's better because portray the house as people would actually see it if they go there. The interior is the same thing, Lee did an edit that made all the difference in the window, but it's fake. And again Lee's shot may look better because it brings a feeling of coziness, with a soft light, but Mike's picture is a much better description of the actual house. The picture from the porch, however, is more descriptive with Lee's picture, and I actually preferred it because it's not only more cozy, it's also more descriptive. The one from Mike doesn't give the same context and you also are not looking to the sea if you sit there.
so, who's the Amateur between them? By the way, to be fair, 4,5,6 was full of photo manipulation and filters. 1,2,3 was more Raw and looked beautifully natural. I guess, more people liked more post-produced images. Well, that's just my opinion.:)
The guy with the purple shirt acts like a bitch
Who the hell sells such a beautiful house…
Mike Kelly saw frames like only a visionary would. That with just the right amount of photoshop made them mesmerising. Lee's work after taking the shots are just over the top.The balcony shot would have been great if the cluttered furniture was changed a bit.
ASAP l need to know Mike's lenses and what is the program he is using in his tablet!!
fun video. i recommend making more specific guidelines next time so its more about the shot and not the shot with swap outs.
They talk to much shit in this video
Loved it. I also prefer tha 2nd set of images. It not like that set 1 is bad and set 2 is good. I just love the drama of the 2nd set's images
🤣🤣 The Profesional was really proper. Like, I can imagine that being professional photos in a magazine.
personally i like 2,5, and 6
More punchier, contrast, colored images better for casual crowd in social media.
No one cares about realistic shots. It's all around us entire live.
HYPOCRITES!
Just watch the comments on this video. Lee was right, people fucking hate him or something. He proved that masterfully. First they loved his photos when no one knew who shot them and now they are saying the exact opposite once they know those were his photos.
Both set of pictures were just great and 70% of people choose Lee's pictures but here they are trashing him. I bet, I fucking bet many of those in that 70% are trashing Lee's photos in this comment section now that they know the truth. Fucking liers and hypocrites.
This video was great! Maybe this video is meant for actual pros and not wannabe newbies that know shit about photography because we all know the less you know about something the more you think you know it all. Fucking losers hating on this video because of ego, go to a psychiatrist and work on your inferiority complex.
Mike's pictures BTW were clearly better edited, had a more elegant and sutil work while Lee's looked more amateur or "blunt", Lee's photos seemed to have 3 or 4 elements while Mike's seemed to have dozens (eventhough he clearly didn't go full power in this challenge) but again both aproaches are just great! It depends of the style and the objective of the shoot.
This guy is Iniesta+Neymar
Both are crap to me. Lot of money-equipment, but only that.
Mike is better photographer and lee is better photoshopper
Hmm calling yourself a pro and taking the picture of the house from the beach vertically shows that he dont know what he is doing.
aren't you both paid to take pictures…in my book that makes you both pro's!
The replaced views lol 😀 nice episode
This is my first time watching these guys. But I already know why people hates the the bald guy.
Photographically im with the simple, quiet guy. Keep photography simple and real.
the 1-3 pictures are better. I hate photoshopping pictures. Natural photos are better.
Photoshoper and Photographer
Lol
Replacing elements for a "Photographer" makes one a "storyteller" not a photographer but that is the world we live in today. Nothing is real and people go crazy when they see what they think is natural but it's not. Looks so much better when our artistic ability can boost the aesthetics of a photo and really, in a competition, that is really important in judging a photo. The only people who know the truth are the storytellers so they get away with it all the time. I like the lighting technique with the pop light. I think it is a tie.
Title says it all: Cocky amateur vs pro…
‘…it looks like fucking Mordor’ 😂
Both sets of photos were great.
Mike's photos are more authentic. I feel like he captured all the aesthetics of the house perfectly all while not overdoing it. He could've even done a TINY bit more editing but still, his photos are more real. Good job to the both of you but Mike definitely takes home the W for this one!
What is the large flash gun he had?
I don’t like the amateur he was very ego driven and his photos were very clustered. whereas the pro kept everything clean and realistic for the buyer
Taking photos of real life and making them fake enough for fake ass people in la to fall in love.
who's the amateur and who is the pro?
Cool video. Very entertaining. Lee's photos are better I think
For a 3-shot montage, I'd take #1 & #2 and crop #6 to a vertical, so 2 for Mike and 1 for Lee.
3:28 parachute crash?
Funny how everyone changed their minds all of a sudden saying Mike's images were way better. How they knew it all along and have no idea why anyone would ever pick Lee's. LMAO.
So funny to me that in the comments here Lee is getting roasted but before people knew who shot which photos, 70% of people preferred Lees.
So when is Lee getting sued for his attempted potentially fraudulent misrepresntation?
#howtoironyourshirt
i skimmed through the video and i didn't know who was the pro and who was the amateur, until lee photoshopped the view out of the window on #4. that shit just looks kitschy.
lee's editing was really over the top !! they looked cool but they were kind of not serving the purpose and were not honest.
