One of the best "top XX" tips I've seen. Took me years to realise the background is as equally or more important than the foreground and getting to eye level is just as important. Great video Steve 🙂

Master the lens and camera which one use. This is the best tip from my side to get a good photograph. Rather than keep on upgrading the camera gear is better to learn and understand the current camera gear properly.

Not only is getting out early or let’s better for image quality, it’s also when some animals are out and others aren’t! You see, some animals only come out those times Becuase the predators are either going to sleep or haven’t woken up yet so it lessens their chances of getting eaten or preyed on. This is for animals on the bottom of the food chain!

Just bought the wild life book after viewing a few of Steve’s YouTube videos. Started reading and found out that I can’t highlight since it is a pdf file and not a real iBook. Have to reconsider whether to buy the auto focus book if I can’t highlight.

These tricks are also useful when shooting pictures in zoos. Of course, you are closer to the animals in the zoo, but these tricks helped me get amazing pictures.

    My tips for new beginners:
    1. Be patient. The animals don’t care about when you are shooting photos, so they won’t move the moment you want them to.
    2. If you shoot pictures in the wild, be extremely careful not to scare them, and invest in a camera lens, that can zoom and still have amazing quality
    3. As he mentioned as the more important rule, try to shoot pictures in lower light, sunset and sunrise, and if there is fog.
