Ramya Krishnan (born 15 September 1970) is an Indian film actress. She was born in Chennai. She married Telugu film director Krishna Vamsi on 12 June 2003. They have a son named Ritwik. She is the niece of veteran Tamil comedian Cho Ramaswamy.
She has acted in more than 200 films in Major Indian languages: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Predominantly, she acted in almost 100 Telugu and 60 Tamil movies.
