A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.
Hi whenever I take pictures in raw on the gh5, when I try and edit them in photoshop or lightroom they are much darker 🙁 can anyone help me? The raw files look fine in my photo viewer.

Question. So you taught us how to expose using V-Log and what to watch for in the waveform: 15IRE, 30 IRE, 42 IRE and 70IRE. But how would you expose in portrait mode? What numbers should I look for in the waveform?

When you choose sharpness -5 and noise reduction -5, do you sharpen in postproduction or is the image sharp enough to use it straight out of the camera?
For not using any color grading/correction, is it better to leave contrast at 0 in portrait mode?

HI, I wand change only the format on my GH5 in place of ( MP4 to MOV ),, I did and saved it, but when i switch off and on again its move to MP4 can you tell how can i fix it .
Hey! What do you do for picture preview? GH5 in picture mode does not preview what the image is going to look like on screen but it does preview in video mode. How do you deal with that?
I still don't understand why, at the cost of BOTH noise and tonality, people would raise the master pedestal when you gain z.e.r.o. dynamic range. Still doesn't make sense. Post processing would do a better job rescuing shadow detail than in-body processing.

What lens did you use starting at 7:05 (portrait mode footage)?
Can I take photos in v-log with gh5 and improve them with luts afterwards?
