Hey Ben, i agree with everything you said in the video especially Expensive cameras make you look more professional 🤣🤣🤣
Big hello in Irish ☘️ 🇮🇪
Hi Ben, would love to hear a greeting in Icelandic! I've actually tried what you recommended and have gone out with a comically large lens and have had people walk up to me and ask for portraits and offer to pay, etc. It's a little hilarious. You brought up some great points that the gear doesn't make the photographer, but gear can make you more professional-looking. There are so many great examples of pro's pulling off amazing shots with cheap beginner gear, sometimes gear from 10-20 years ago. Any chance you'll give us a challenge video and show yourself going head to head with some cheap beginner camera vs someone else with pro-level gear?

Your videos are awesome just purchased my first camera about 2 weeks ago. I have been watching non stop figuring out what all the terms are and your basic videos on aperture and shutter speed are great really helped a lot. Thank you
I started with a Sony a6000 and trained with it for two years and loved everything about it, just recently I upgraded to the Sony a7r ii and I’m thankful that I spent all that time training with the a6000.
Some people can learn how to take photographs that hundreds of people will stop and take a look at, but other photographers can pick up a camera (doesn't really matter which camera) and take photographs that everyone will stop and admire for hours, hell some people even pay a great deal of money for a print to hang in their homes.
But then some people have a gift that you just can't learn !
Nice and motivating video! It would be great to hear your tips for mobile photography if someone wants to learn photography and only have access to the iPhone or Android.
Waiting for a shout out in Chinese!
The best camera is the one who are with you, so a little cheap camera or a smartphone is always better than the big and very quality camera who are not with you at THE moment. an other very good video thanks for your job Ben!!
Great video. Do Greek next time.
I'll make sure I tell my flight instructor that I want to learn by flying a 747.
Shout out to Bulgaria🇧🇬
Try Hindi… I'm from INDIA !!!
Shout out to Iran in Persian
שלום…… from israel
I agree with what you say Ben. If you have good camera, it doesn't mean you're pro, but what it takes to be a professional is to learn and have skills to take a photograph. I have Nikon D3100 and I'm still using it for landscape photographer eventhough people recommended me to change.
Hey Ben! I really love all of your videos… I wait for you videos specially with the English language. Good luck to you… And you inspire me a lot… Loads of love
Saludos desde Ecuador.
For a second I thought you were latino.
Your videos are inspiring, great great job.
My idol Ben… I'm never hear you say "Apa khabar" and shout out to Malaysian viewer and your subscribers. Say it at your next video "apa kha bar" it's mean how are you.
M from India,,try Bengali
Greetings from Greece 🇬🇷 !!!
I have only been taking Photo's for around 6-8 month using a Nikon D3200 a very good entry level camera as I was told. I also had the 18-55 mm kit lens On your advice I bought the Yongnou 50 mm Prime lens and WOW my pictures improved unbelievably . I'm still very 'amateurish but feel improvements have been made. If I ever have the money I might buy a 'professional' camera but until then learning new skills with my low level equipment is how I will carry on.
I had a t3i and a Canon 60d. For a 3 years until I upgraded. But I sometimes I use my cameras just to challenge myself.
The camera is just the tool, the person that take the camera it´s the 70% of the photography! Thanks for tis great video Ben, your Spanish is incredible JAJAJAJA
Please in danish, LOL
Sweden! 😊
lol, My country has 22 major languages written in 13 different scripts, with over 720 dialects. I can speak in one regional language Tamil in 2 dialects but understand all of it, understand one more language Malayalam can't speak it and English is my main language understand all dialects of it ….. welcome to India.
I agree with all you said. I do think that investing in higher quality lenses at the start is better than investing in an expensive camera at the start. I also think that equipment will give the person the drive and maybe confidence to expand their photographic interests. Photography is a continuing learning experience and if the equipment helps you to learn and expand then more expensive gear might be the way to go.
great video =) grüße aus Bayern 🙂
Hey Ben
Would you make a shout-out in danish?
