Wistman`s Wood is a beautiful place for me as a photographer to get inspiration from this ancient 400-500 hundred year old wood but it`s one of the most difficult and challenging places I have ever tried to photograph because it’s intwined branches make it near imposible to get a good composition

Stunning location, Cliff. Really gets the imagination running. Be careful, though – one slip and you could get stuck between rocks – a bit awkward if you're alone. Such a careful and stylish video. Mind boggling how you link up all the 'B-roll' stuff.

A lovely atmospheric Dartmoor mist, brings back lots of memories of navigating the moor when visibility was down to 50 metres or so. Did you know that HRH Prince Charles permitted a tree in Wistmans wood to be cut to establish how old the wood is? There is a metal plaque on a large granite boulder commemorating it. Such a peaceful feel to this video Cliff, it was the perfect watch with a cup of tea on a sunday morning..the moss coverage was so vibrant and the way the dark twisting trees create such beautiful contrast. Some really exceptional photos Cliff capturing the mood of the scene 👍..I must visit this area..I thoughrly enjoyed the video 😊
