Great tutorial. Thanks so much. Now to try and use these skills  in Painter 16. I'm guessing that it will be pretty much the same 🙂

you lost me at 3:17…could not figure out how to "sample"….the program is very complex and without more detailed explanation someone like me would never be able to figure this out. Please don't leave ANY steps out or leave them vague.

Joy. I am after many years getting back here. I need frames for my images. What do people use. A frame program or layers in painter. Are the work spaces and brushes available for download. I know I have seen some around years ago and there are some still around. But since then and now I am sure there are best of that people like.

Is there anyway I can download this onto my disk so that I can share it in a group?  I have been asked to share the process in a group of traditional artists.  And this one is a great example of cloning from a photograph.  Thanks!

It's nice to get back to basics, and your tutorial and workspace provide a really solid basis for 'simply painting' without getting caught up in the technically creative complexity available in X3. Thanks for a great little tutorial and workspace.

Thanks for the toturials! Lovely. Was wondering is it the best way to work on small canvas n lower dpi from start and then increase it too larger n higher dpi such as 300. Will it loose the details and quality during print out such as jaggy-ness in pixel display on papers or real canvas prints. Thanks!
