Are the new D2 Profit lights battery powered for location shooting? I know the B1X is. I don't see many people doing "Formal Portraits" anymore these days. We used a Main, a fill, a hair light and a small background light back in the 80's for formal shots.
Instead of a little laptop, if you grab yourself a 43" 4K monitor for showing clients their photos you will blow them away.

How did make your wall?
As a tethering solution, Lightroom is not only terribly slow, but very much unreliable, often dropping connections. You did not mention your software, but you talked about the tethering cable. Without reliable software, tethering is a crap shoot.
