Kim you can buy heat resistant hair curler and straightener roll up carry bags I have one for my straightener and you can roll it up even when itβs still hot I got it on eBay

When I forget my flat iron case I wrap mine in a shirt or jeans so it wonβt burn my stuff.
Your paying for the lighting. Setting up lighting on sets is very time consuming.
