A initially learned photography as a kid shooting black & white then developing the photos in a dark room, that was a magical time and sparked my interest in photography. As I got older I dabbled in digital photography but wasn't until my kids were born that i really started to get an active interest back in it all.

Hope everything went well James
10:09 ✋😂
They also make a digital one so you don’t have to print every time
Matt's expression of sheer joy has made my entire day
James seems like a nice guy.
Good luck James!
I never new the name of those things.
If they're disposable watch out the anti plastic movement though
I think this camera is quite pointless even with the "settings"
you can buy a little pocket printer that can be used with your phone via bluetooth. I am not gonna tell a brand, but it costs ~130 €, +13€ for 20 papers, so it is the same price or even cheaper than this, and it has the advantage that, as you already mentioned, you carry a camera in your phone anyway, so why not use it, and you can print only the photos that you like.
BUT HOW DID JAMES'S AUDITION GO???
hmmm audition! Why do i always think porn?
why are you compaining abot a 130£ camera?
Whoops, I'm behind!
Cute picture!
The downside of instant photo cameras is that you can easily lose the photos after you've taken them. >.>
Vague maths 2+2=between 3&5ish. There
Fuzzy logic maths ftw!
I can probably use the hipster wave to buy some film to use for framing and ficussing large format analog photography.
When figuring out the cost per shot, don't forget to count the cost of the camera and lens. You'll have to take 30,000 pictures on your $30,000 Hasselblad to get the cost per shot down to $1.
Matt looks so happy about his instax camera, that's sweet! 🙂
Good luck, James!
Before I went to Japan, I upgraded my phone exclusively to have a good camera, albeit second hand, and bought an Instax 300 Wide instant camera (also second hand) so I could generate little mementos as I went along. It's a nice little combo to have when traveling.
Waffle
wtf is that crap, the Polaroid is so much smaller.
Bird!
But Matt you work in radio…
good luck james
WE **NEED** to track down James and find out how the audition went (or even if he ever found them)
I hope James had a successful audition
It seems like it would make more sense to get a higher quality digital camera and then just print photos. It also seems like you could make a better instant camera by doing the same thing. Just incorporating a small printer into the camera itself.
Good luck, James.
I had a Polaroid Instamatic camera that sounds very similar to the one Tom described, also given to me for my birthday, back when digital cameras weren't a thing. I used mine more than he did, though, because I became the official photographer for family events, so I could get my parents to pay for the film. I discovered fairly early on that the shutter button is actually two buttons in one: One enables the flash, and one actually triggers the shutter. So, you can take a picture without the flash by just using the back half of the button.
Isn’t it more impatience than laziness?
