Try not to capture an overcast sky when taking pictures. Including too much of a gray sky will make your pictures appear muted and washed-out. Move and look at your subject from different angles. Find different, interesting angles to make the subject more interesting.
Consider enrolling in a photography group, or team up to take shots with a photographer who shares your interests. Listen to any technical tips they have, but be sure to keep your own style. Take some pictures together of the same object, then compare how your styles differ.
There are no magic bullets when it comes to great photography. Keep snapping images and you gain experience with every click. Get a digital camera so you can take as many pictures as you want. Delete the ones you have no interest in. You can get better by taking pictures of what you see and later judging it to see if it can be better.
In this digital age it can still be pleasurable to experiment with old fashioned film photography to achieve some different results. Try getting some black and white film that has a ISO 200 rating; it is the best for all situations. By getting your single prints on multiple types of paper, you can view the differences and decide which you prefer.
Limit yourself to ensure that each photograph you take is creative. For instance, make a goal to only photograph images that represent one concept, such as “red.” Try to take at least 100 different pictures from the same vantage point or in the same room. Bright Colors
If you are going to be taking a picture of a large group, give them some suggestions on how to wear complementary clothing. It is not necessary to match colors, but you should pick shades that look good together. Warm and neutral colors will be most attractive for pictures in natural environments. If they prefer bright colors, suggest balancing them with some pieces of clothing that are black to prevent the bright colors from clashing with each other.
